Bol Bol is playing 17mpg and averaging: 10pts, 6rebs, 2blks while shooting 63% from the field and 40% from 3pt. Would have been a nice player to keep and develop…. :blank:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Agree. Totally no need to waive him like that - never understood it...

Don’t want Davis for 2 reasons: hurt all the time & didn’t want to come here when New Orleans made him available

He's gotten lazy since he won a chip...look at him in this video. Having a flabby guy like Jokic outwork him is pretty embarrassing.

It was necessary to get under the luxury tax.  That was a primary consideration last year, for better or for worse.

Well, on the bright side at least we're not the Lakers looking at a 0-5 start right now.  ;D

He's always been a great rebounder. All the attention thus far has (rightfully) been on Haliburton and Mathurin, but Nessie is playing alright. Just not hitting 3s

Nets now 1 win 5 losses.

I don't like Nash's starting five. Two low utility offensive players in O'Neale and Claxton is a bad fit next to Ben Simmons. Too much pressure on one-on-one play from Kyrie and Durant who are both putting up major numbers but the team ain't winning.

Ben Simmons with 9pts 8reb 9ast tonight. Better.

I don't really think it matters. Ben Simmons is mediocre especially against great teams, and they don't have much bench help. Kyrie and KD can put up their numbers but as we're seeing, it doesn't really matter. Also I wouldn't even be surprised if Kyrie's recent actions (politics, opinion tweets) are also affecting the rest of the team

Kyrie's off court issues definitely have to be affecting the team. I agree that lineup is not a good combination for the Nets, but if TJ Warren is back soon, that should help a lot. They should also move Simmons to the front court and start Patty Mills. Mills, Kyrie, KD, Simmons, and Claxton with Warren off the bench. Or at this stage, make Ben Simmons the sixth man.

Mitchell might very well be the front runner for MVP right now.  Cavs are 5-1 and entering today he was averaging 31 p, 6.4 a, 4.8 r and is darn near a 50/40/90 shooter.  And of course today he only goes for 38 p, 12 a, 3 r shooting 60% from the field overall and 61.5% from 3.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

So far for me the 4 standouts have been Spida, Giannis, Tatum & Doncic.
