Does anyone here think that social media has helped lead us to a culture that regularly makes premature, under-informed judgements about people?  I wouldn’t want to be judged by my worst moments, would you?  I don’t know exactly what Ime did, and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like it if I knew, but whatever it was doesn’t tell me all there is to know about him.  Yes, there are some things that people do that you can’t forgive and can’t overlook.  But i can say that I have people in my life who I call friends who have done things that I dislike and don’t respect - yet they remain in my life. I think how they respond to their own foibles and how they lead the rest of their lives matters in terms of overall character.  None of us are perfect, most of us have messed up, and few of us are held to account for our errors in public ways.

Unfortunately, that's the era that we have to live through. Social media has its pros and cons. You get all your news faster there. But one can also be victimized in some ways and lead folks astray. It's like someone is breaking the news of your life out for you. And if you're a celebrity, even more hits.
I have no interest in defending social media but I whole-heartedly reject that idea that people before the internet always made well-informed judgements about people without prejudice or jumping to conclusions.

Congrats to Grant, who is now First VP, taking over from Andre Iguodala.  The Celts remain well-represented, with three guys.  The best news is Kyrie is gone.

Of course they didn’t. It’s volume/frequency.

JT and JB on playing against each other in the ASG.

"I think it was fun," Brown said. "Going against my brother in Jayson and going back and forth, it was like nobody was in there at all. It was just me and him."

Added Tatum: "That was like another day at the office for us. Being on the same team for six years now, we've played countless number of 1-on-1 games, scrimmages against each other. We've always kind of brought the best out of each other.

"So, that was a normal day for us. Just a myriad of people watching on one of the biggest stages."

Brown, who led Team LeBron with 35 points and 14 rebounds, said he was not surprised to see Tatum come out aggressive from the start with the MVP in mind.

"If you know Jayson, he's going for it," Brown said. "And that's what he's supposed to do."

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I personally wouldn't mind doing that, but I think White or Brogdon might be in the lineup since Smart is now back too. But it did seem like Hauser was awesome during the games he started lol

Magic number for us to clinch an actual playoff spot (so minimum 6 seed) is down to 9  :)

Probably White starts, as he did when Rob was out.  Joe has never started Brogdon, wants him to stay in same mindset, plus increases his 6MOY award chances LOL.

Guess this explains why Muscala hasn’t been playing much lately.

Looks like Snell still has his shooting touch. So far he's 48.6% from the field, 41.5% from 3pt and 93.3% from the line. Tony's played 9 games for Maine and is averaging 12pts, 5.6rebs, 2.3ast.

Anyone know why Grant was benched vs the Cavs? I know he has an elbow injury that he’s been playing through. It’s just weird that he suddenly fell out of the rotation without any given reason.
