That just seems like too much. I know Salaries are increasing and Jayson is underpaid but there's no way he should be making more than Tatum. He's not a $35m/year player
I'm bitter.

Other sources are saying only $123m but incentives could bring it up to $140m, so it's really going to depend on what those incentives are.

How can the luxury taxed Warriors do tat? First off, he's not that good. He's a frontrunner. When the team is way up he is good but otherwise not that good. And he can't take a punch.

He averaged 13/2/2 in the Finals. Not sure that counts as "destroyed". Not even sure it counts as good.

If they have his bird rights they are allowed to exceed the luxury tax to re-sign him I thought.

Though they will probably offload some salaries elsewhere (cough Draymond cough).

So now Wiggins signs 4yr $109m. Will they trade draymond or resign him for super cheap, or does eventually he sign with... Detroit? I know they go into tax but it seems a message’s being sent.

I keep hearing about "cap space" and "luxury tax" and what not. Yet teams like the Los Angeles Rams and the Golden State Warriors just re-sign everyone at huge deals and sign so much talent, almost at an unfair level

They have to look ahead. Their core of Curry, Klay and Draymond is coming to an end. Poole, Wiggins, Wiseman are going to be their core going forward. Draymond may even be gone soon the way things are going. Klay is a shell of his former self.

The NBA is strange sometimes. Wiggins was and is obviously better than Poole. Poole gets paid more. Go figure.

The Warriors just spent 35 a year on the equivalent of Jordan Clarkson.

They must be confident that he is going to continue to improve, since he’s only 23. Wiggins will be turning 28 soon and has likely peaked.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

His game is on the rise. Wiggins has plateaued. Klay, i think, is declining.
