doesn't this say 72?  or can I not read straight in my old age?
lol

It does say that but add the off and def rebounds up.

I was told there would be no math!

There's always math... ;D

ok, we were up 90-72 after the 3rd.  I am ok with that.

This movement is gross. Jackson and Thomas make it 3v5 for our offence
and maine awaits them with open arms.
I don't want them in Maine either!

They are both god awful. No upside at all…
have to say they looked positively awful in this game.  would be fine cutting them after they shower in the locker room tonight.
They might be ‘mercy’ cuts; gives them a chance to catch on elsewhere or start packing for Europe.
that's what was going through my mind -- most likely Europe or China

I wanted to see Laymen and Luka.  :(
If they played them instead of Thomas/Jackson, this is a win That said, I think they purposely played those guys in order to confirm they should be cut.

Starters and rotation guys looked good. Deep bench was trash outside of Pritchard. Gonna be another season of starters building up huge leads but deep bench giving them away. Also, Cs need to find a veteran wing player. Take Justin Jackson and launch him into the sun.

The deep bench shouldn’t play much.  That’s why they’re deep bench.  I think we’ve seen the last of Justin Jackson this preseason tho.  Probably Thomas also — betting we get some Davison run the next 4th quarter.

not so sure. the fourth quarter was not even the deep bench, it was the tail end of the entire team and guys who won't even be on the team.

the bench - grant, brogdan, pitchard, white - played most of the third quarter i think, and the celtics won that quarter.

i am not worried about thomas and jackson hurting this team during the regular season.

Neither of those guys will make the team.

AND on defense, they are both turnstiles. that was one of the most conspicuously horrible performances I've seen by two players ever. Just wildly outclassed by the other 8 3rd-stringers on the court, contributing literally nothing to the game.

Man, how was Jackson the 4th pick in the draft? My god, he is terrible. I thought at least he was athletic and played some defense, but he looks he'd be riding the pine in the g-league at this point.

And to think, once upon a time he actually had the gall to spurn us.

+1

I actually have to watch a lot of those games, and I've seen enough from these two already lol.

Pathetic we even let Toronto get a breath of life in this game...All their Starters just run into the paint...Shove off with their off arm and lay the ball in with NO CALLS from the Refs.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

But yours is wrong Liam. 😂 You don’t add them up. The offensive rebounds are a subset of the total. 59 total.

Justin Jackson also sucks, and was taken 15th in the same draft (ahead of John Collins, Jarrett Allen, OG Anunoby, Derrick White, and Kyle Kuzma). Josh is better than Justin, but both have been big time busts.

Jackson 0 for 7. Thomas 0 for 2
Jackson having 7 shots is just such a waste.

We should have gone with Pritchard, Davison, Hauser, Vonleh & Kabengele. These two are doodoo

Jackson looks to be trying too hard to make the team, pushing shots rather than letting the game come to him. Probably he thinks he should be the go to guy in the absence of the regular rotation.

We probably could have won the game if Joe Mazz decided to put a better lineup out there...but I'm ok with the lineup he used to end the game. They probably want to know if those guys have what it takes to pull it out of the fire against a similar level of competition. Jackson's probably someone he wanted to have a look at. Unfortunately for him he laid an egg, but fortunately for us it was the preseason  :police:
