cripes. thomas seems to have some trouble playing the game of basketball.
I have no idea why we have brought him back. He is just awful. Play Davison ahead of him
after the first game, I'd have thought Davison would have gotten some minutes by now

god I hate that play by Tatum.  fast break opportunity and he backs up for a 3 that he misses
Nope, that’s the right play he was wide open.
no, bad play.  should have driven to the basket while Toronto was scrambling to get back
Welcome to the modern NBA. I got no problem with that.
I do.  it's bad basketball -- especially on a night where he's bricking away
Telling Jayson Tatum to NOT take a wide-open 3 is bad coaching.
telling him to drive to the hoop when he's not being guarded by anyone within 15 feet is smart coaching
There were defenders at the rim.

Pritchard looks really good.
Both he and Hauser look like they should be more than able to contribute. Top 8 core of JT, JB, Brogdon, Smart, Al, Timelord, Grant & White, and then Pritchard, Hauser & Blake as the next 3. Guys like Vonleh could step up if needed

i can only assume that mazulla wants to give thomas some sort of chance after slaving away in maine. davison, i want to see, but no matter what he does his role is set. thomas may be fighting for his career with the celtics.

Pressing too hard because he has a chance to make a roster.  Ironically it will probably cost him his chance.

Would it be safe to assume that Jackson and Thomas are fighting for that last spot? I’m fine with keeping an open roster spot though.

I think Jackson is 0 for however many shots he's taken - which is too many.

scrambling, not planted obviously and he had lots of room to move in for an easy score.  it's smart basketball regardless of whether the current 3-loving NBA players/coaches play that way
