Nothing official yet, but Adrian Wojnarowski reported on ESPN’s Get Up Wednesday that Brooklyn could hire suspended Celtics head coach by as early as Wednesday. “A formal agreement could be reached as soon as today and Ime Udoka could be on the bench by as soon as this road trip on the weekend,” said Woj talking with Mike Greenberg. “Sean Marks I think he sees in Udoka as someone who commands the respect of that locker room, improves them defensively. I don’t know if he got slandered, because we haven’t been told what Ime did. But smart is definitely right that this thing doesn’t compute. If what he did was terrible,which I assume must be the case, why is he hired a couple weeks later?

The Nets don't care. It could be that simple. Deshaun watson has 40 women who accused him of sexual assault. And he got the biggest contract in NFL history.

I wouldn't equate what another team does to mean what Ime did wasn't bad. All I know is you don't hire a law firm to investigate a consensual relationship. There is more we are not being told.

It was terrible in the sense that it could have gotten the employer sued and liable for mega damages, but it isn't necessarily terrible in the grand scheme or things or such that a different employer would care (if it doesn't happen to them).

Option 1 (most likely): The Nets simply don’t care.
Option 2 (not completely incompatible with Option 1): It was bad enough internally (one or more employees felt intimidated/angered by Udoka’s continued presence) that organizationally it was better to restore trust with everyone and move on from Udoka, but not so bad that starting fresh in a new organization wasn’t possible.

I never cared for Ime's not coaching during time outs.  Let him go, no coach can reign in Kyrie and Durant.

The Nets and NYC in general are so desperate for a good team, they would do anything.  They have not been basketball relevant for ages.

Does anyone else think it is crazy the NBA does not have a code of conduct for their coaches?   I do.

The simplest answer is that other teams aren't obligated to institute and enforce Celtics team policy.
