Lots of twitter gossip that its a physical altercation/drug bender.

Honestly, after last year's playoffs, I think that is totally reasonable.
For a fight to cause a 'signifcant suspension' without being fired, he either had to mess someone up pretty bad or hit someone you don't hit (like Brad or ownership). Seems unlikely to me.  A drug problem might make sense - but he'd probably be the one to announce he was stepping away and the team would be supporting him.

I'm still leaning towards the innapropriate relationship.
What type of inappropriate relationship would result in a significant suspension rather than being fired?

Inappropriate relationship with female staff member per Shams

@ShamsCharania
Celtics coach Ime Udoka had an improper intimate and consensual relationship with a female member of the team staff, sources tell
@TheAthletic

@Stadium
. It’s been deemed a violation of franchise’s code of conduct.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

They must have rules about relationships among employees, like some companies do.
If he's not being let go maybe the other person is leaving the club?

Far out! Never a dull bloody moment. Feel for Nia Long.

What an idiot. There is no doubt that these rules would have been made clear to him
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Pretty messed up. Guess Nia Long wasn’t enough for him. He has a kid with her too. Smh.

Yup, I don't think the players are gonna tune in on him now now that the reason came out. Can't see Udoka sticking around for long if these guys don't listen to him, which creates locker room issues.

Brad, better start looking for a new coach!
