Looks like the Atlantic Sun and WAC are making a move to combine and join FBS, adding 10 teams over the next several years going from FCS to FBS.  If it works as they intend that will make for the 11th conference in FBS

The WAC schools are - Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian, Utah Tech, Southern Utah, and Tarleton State

The Atlantic Sun schools are - Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Central Arkansas, and North Alabama

Those 9 schools are aiming for 2024 in the FBS.

UT Rio Grande Valley is starting a program from scratch and hopes to be added in 2025 making the 10th school in the conference.

Sam Houston from the WAC and Jacksonville State and North Alabama from the Atlantic Sun are not making the jump from FCS to FBS, at least at this time.
I wonder how much money these schools expect to make from this move.
more than they make in FCS, which is likely all that matters.

41-22 with just over a quarter left.  TCU looks like the better team in all facets and it would take an amazing collapse for them not to advance

44 points combined in the 3rd quarter.  That is a ton of points.  They have 25 combined in the 4th and it isn't quite over yet.

Not gonna lie, I still think it's very dumb that Ohio State has a real chance to make the Championship Game despite losing to Michigan, but sneaking in because USC had to play an extra game while Ohio State and Alabama didn't, and 1 of those 2 were gonna make it as a result

The biggest issue i have with refs right there. Dont officiate based on the score or the clock. If its a penalty in the 1st quarter, its a penalty in the 4th.

Now besides that I thought that was an illegal forward pass by the rb anyways so TCU deserved that win

If USC had ended their season at 11-1 and Ohio State was also 11-1, Ohio State would have been ranked ahead of them.  The extra game is not the reason USC was left out, the extra game is the only reason USC was at 4 and OSU was at 5 in that ranking because the committee didn't want to deal with USC having to jump OSU after the last game.

Maybe you're right. Bias definitely exists in College Football. Otherwise I really see no reason why Ohio State would be ranked ahead of USC if both teams finished 11-1

Look at their schedules.  Ohio State played a better one, had a better best win, and lost to a better team (though obviously it was a worse loss).  Had USC played Oregon and Washington, and beaten them, that would have changed things, but USC didn't play the 2nd and 4th best teams in the conference and that really hurt their overall schedule.
