We need a strong, rebounding post player with a mean streak, given this team's soft nature.

What is Dwight Howard's situation, is he still under contract ?

What we don't need is a malcontent who reduces our championship window and has not expressed any great interest in coming to Boston anyway, which makes it very possible he, once again, becomes unhappy and restless and wants to leave.
Gonna need to have this one explained to me.

The Celtics had one of the best defenses in the league in over a decade. They were the most physical team in the playoffs, winning 14 playoff games, against the toughest teams in the league. Smart, Tatum and Timelord played through injuries in the playoffs.

This team was not soft. Not in my opinion or those of most national commentators that watched them.
