If Brad caves and gives up Jaylen, Marcus and Grant for Durant (without getting Curry), how do we fill out the roster?

Timelord / Horford
Durant / Gallinari
Tatum
White
Brogdon / Pritchard

With Kornet and Hauser off the deep bench.

If Curry got added to the deal that solves a lot of problems, but if he doesn’t how do we fill out the wing rotation?

We’ve got a $6.9 million TPE and a $5.9 million TPE, which can’t be combined.

If they don’t get something like Curry in the deal, think it would be pretty hard to use the TPE’s considering they wouldn’t have any draft capital left. It would have to be veteran minimum bargain hunting or waiting until buyout season to add the best buy out ring chasers.

Yeah.  We still have a couple of decent second rounders left, but the guys out there making less than $7 million who are also available is going to be pretty slim.

Kornet and Hauser are not viable rotation players. KD coming probably means Al to the bench which helps big depth and brogdan starts with PP and White the back up points.

Curry would need to be in the deal as the starting 2.

Ugh….This seems like a terrible outcome to me.  A snowballs chance in hades of playing out good .

What’s up with Jeff Green right now? Did he sign?

Green, Aldridge, Howard and Melo

This team is going to lack wings big time, in a wing league too

I want Joe Harris not Seth?

Does that work?

I’d try to sign Eric Paschall.  He can do a passable Grant Williams impersonation.

I’m not that enthusiastic about the wings out there right now.

It depends on how accurate public salary numbers are, but if we traded JB + Smart + Grant, he’d barely fit.

Substitute White or Pritchard, and he wouldn’t.

So, should be pretty easy to pick one up.

Pretty sure Tatum and Brown would disagree. Also, Smart can guard 1-5 (with few exceptions) and Brogdon and White can guard 2/3s.

I don't think wing is a real problem.

Our present roster with no trade is way better.

100.

This is why I only see it as Smart and JB with a single pick swap or you pass. You can't lose three good key players for a guy often hurt. Im rooting for Heat to get KD and C’s sneak in buying low on Bam or Simmons while still keeping the Jays.

We need a strong, rebounding post player with a mean streak, given this team's soft nature.

What is Dwight Howard's situation, is he still under contract ?

What we don't need is a malcontent who reduces our championship window and has not expressed any great interest in coming to Boston anyway, which makes it very possible he, once again, becomes unhappy and restless and wants to leave.
