As I said on another thread, Edwards would be a solid pickup at age 21 and has good size.

Nothing to be sorry about.  Just repeating that I liked Edwards.  I also like Warren, more.

If this guy is so good, why didn't BKN use him in the playoffs against us?

They were desperate for quality wing players with the losses due to injury of Ben Simmons and Joe Harris. They were fielding tiny backcourts that were getting abused by our bigger perimeter players.

Maybe the answer is straight forward = this guy sucks. They didn't play him because he wasn't good enough to help them. If he wasn't good enough to help them as desperate as they were last season, why in the world would he be good enough to help us next season?

I don't think the C's can sign Romeo Langford since they just traded him. :)

He's a raw 21-year-old player. He'd be a 13th or 14th guy that could play in a pinch. Played 20 minutes a game last year in limited games for the Nets. 35% from 3. 5.9 pts and 3.6 rbs

We need guys we can trust in a playoff game if needed.

Not raw developmental prospects. We have Hauser for that.

We need a wing that is happy as a 3rd stringer who won't wet the bed if called upon in a playoff series.

How many players are out there that would sign for the minimum, would accept the 12th / 13th man role, and can play meaningful minutes in the playoffs?

It’s an exceedingly short list.

Carmelo Anthony?

I rather have Edwards but Melo you know what you're getting... Plus then you have Melo and Gallo... ;D

I also wonder if Kessler Edwards was guarding KD in practice last year?

Carmelo might have fit on last year’s team.  For this year, he’d be duplicative.  Too many finishers on the bench.

I think Who mentioned Tony Snell.  Good veteran presence, solid defender.  He doesn’t offer much offensive production though.

I'd like Snell. I wouldn't mind Melo on our deep bench. He can still score and shot 37% from 3 last year. 13 points a game last year. Not a bad 13th, 14th man...
