Porter Jr., Harrell, Divencenzo, Warren, Gallinari, Nurkic, Sexton

Who might Brad have his heart set on?  And would any be available via our TPEs?

My guess is that the last two guys on that list won't be available in our price range.  Harrell is a bit of a question mark, because he's a dink in the locker room, but I think he'll get more than the TPE.

Of the four remaining guys -- Porter, DDV, Warren, Gallinari -- I'd be happy with any but DDV.  I'd probably rank them Warren, Gallinari, Porter based upon our scoring needs.

Gallo over Porter? Not me.

I don't understand the Otto Porter interest. He is essentially the same player as Grant Williams only skinny & long vs bulky & strong.

Again, they play the same position. Essentially the same role as a 3+D guy. There will be diminished returns there. Both guys are limited offensively as smaller wings and more comfortable as a big forward.

Why don't we want players that play a different position and complement our best bench players instead of players who play the same position as our best bench guys and will be competing for playing time with them?

How is Gallo overall any better than Grant Williams? He might have a bit more offensive game, but he’s worse defensively. They are both very mediocre in terms of rebounding ability. Both can’t play center.  Gallo is just going to get worse each year, Grant is still improving. Let’s not add more old PF’s please.

Porter to Toronto
And they signed Thad Young and re-signed Boucher as well. 3 backup PFs to go along with Scottie Barnes, Siakam & Anunoby. 6 rotation forwards.

1 two guard in Trent Jr. No centers of any real note.

Otto Porter Jr. had a veteran minimum offer on the table from the Warriors but is signing in Toronto for a better deal, per @Chris Haynes.

Looks like the Warriors don't have an unlimited budget after all.  Losing Payton and Porter hurts in the short-term.

The good news for GSW is that they got a lot of young players who could step forward and fill some of those bench minutes with Kuminga, Wiseman and Moody.

Not without risk but not without hope either.

They’re set up extremely well with their combination of vets and youth.

He would have been a solid backup for Tatum. The C’s have zero backup SF’s..

Of all the crazy contracts out there, this is definitely one of them. Zach Freakin' Lavine getting 215M???

He’s the face of their franchise. Gotta sell tickets after all and it still looks like a bargain after what Beal just received.

You and I define "solid" differently it appears.  And from what I saw, Porter was a back up PF, now a wing.  At best a kind of Marcus Morris type, but not as good or as durable (at this point in his career).

I agree we need a back up wing, I just don't agree that Otto Porter is the guy.
