2018 Rockets all over again.

Inability to recognize mismatches, no low post moves. All I see is predictable offense. Drive to the paint, kick to open 3 and that's it. I was waiting for Tatum or Brown for that matter to use some offensive moves other than the eurostep or step back 3. Where's the hook shot? Where's the floater or spin moves in the post? I guess it's just me remembering the glory days of legitimate big men. lol

GS is gonna win its what, 4 or 5th championship without a low post option. This isnt the problem. The problem is turning the ball over.

For as much as people are criticizing the midrange, I feel in the playoffs its a true weapon. And both Tatum and Brown are nowhere near high level scorers in that area.

Team needs a Veteran point guard to distribute!
Smart is not the answer at the point

Team needs a legit scorer either in the starting lineup or off the bench

It’s fixable! So let’s get to work on the off-season

They did their damage in the paint this series. And they had Wiggins who practically killed the Celtics in the last 2 games, dominating the painted area. While they didn't have any low post moves, they had killer mid range shooters in Wiggins. And the Splash Brothers aren't just simply 3 point shooters, they can also kill you at the mid range. Brown and Tatum aren't nowhere consistent at that area as you said

We have a coach that is very good defensively and poor offensively. It’s like they don’t even have plays on offense.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Paint scoring =/= to low post. Drives, lobs, putbacks will give you paint scoring. The inbetweeen game opens up the driving range. Teams will try to take away open threes and drives. its hard to take away all three, but if you are proficient enough from midrange one of those option opens up. What happens is if they have driven us off the line, they can now pack the paint because there is no midrange to fear.

And yes I agree. After driving curry off the line you still have to be wary coz he is still dangerous from midrange. That is why a lot of times his driving game opens up.

All offenses are built for perimeter play nowadays. They cannot adapt and attack differently if required. They have only way of playing.
