All that and we only shaved off five points.

Ime has to go all out here. Simply have to come out at the start of the fourth and keep up the run and pressure. Play the starters. They got a bit of rest. No other bench player is worthy of this moment right now.
Shaved off 5 points is harsh considering we initially got down by 22. Shaved 12 off of that monster deficit.

Need a +11 quarter. Would be nice to have someone go nuclear this quarter from the Cs.

Gotta get some new coaches on the team that can bring in a better offensive philosophy. Think D'Antoni or someone like that.

I'd be on board with bring in D'Antoni. We need a more innovative offense. This team has the talent to be a lot more dynamic on that end.

and no defense. No thanks.

Horford wants it, if you bash this dude that's just wrong. He may never be back here. Something the J's don't really understand.
Very funny post. You rant and rave about how Tatum isn't mentally strong enough for this stage, when Horford has been the most unreliable offensive option on the entire team.

THANK U

Big heart shown in that quarter by Al and Jaylen.  We are in it.  Gotta have 110% in the 4th.

Brown and Horford got us back and now its time for the handoff to you know who. If all 3 are clicking in fourth, we can do this

Tatum and Brown are worn out because our Bench has given us ZERO for the past 3 games.

HE IS NOT BEYOND CRITICISM

WAS SCARED TO POST UP CURRY

Nobody is beyond criticism. Dude gets a pass for being 36 years old though. Shouldn't have to rely on him so much at this stage of the J's careers.

I mean, I love Big Al, but he's been a ghost for games two through five. Perhaps we wouldn't have to rely on the Jays so much if he would've shown more of this during that stretch.

Tatum has 11 points in an elimination game at home but let's keep trashing an old Horford though. Tired of seeing people make excuses for the J's for fear of them bolting.

What do you expect Tatum to do - shoot over the double teams? He's got 13 shots thus far with 6 assists. The rest of the team isn't stepping up per usual. They're taking Tatum out of the offense, and highlighting why the rest of our offense simply isn't good enough. Al is finally stepping up and actually looking to shoot, but it looks too little too late.

what we expect tatum to do is what curry is doing against our D designed to stop him. move without the ball. create space for your shot. be aggressive and offensively minded. be the alpha. unlike curry, he also has length to leverage to his advantage.

if you want to be the man, you gotta deliver the goods.

I’m not sure if you are watching, but Steph Curry has a complete offense designed for him to get open at a very high clip.

Tatum is an iso player, but there is no comparison for the way they are schemed in the offense. It’s like comparing a high school offense to an NBA offense.

the comparison is offensive option #1 for both players. tatum being an iso player is his problem. when he moves without the ball, he gets easy shots, and so do his teammates. that’s how the c’s offense is designed to work as a motion offense. too often, tatum’s penchant for iso is what stagnates his own game, as well as the entire offense. jb does this at times, too.

like i said, “you want to be the man, you gotta deliver the goods.” as option #1, you don’t just let the other team take you out of your game consistently.
