They guys where Tired, Imme doesnt even trust any bench player. white and Grant thats it. Throw nesmith in there he cant shoot any worse than jaylen was. Golden state actually have guys they trust. My lord Wiggins ate us alive ..I had to relax and remember he was a first round pick treated like a role player.

TOs - BOS 18 GSW 6

FTs - BOS 31 GSW 16
3PT - BOS 11/32 GSW 9/40

That TO difference is massive.

In the fourth quarter at times, they need just a straight post game to get a bucket. Where is Kantor when u need him?

He's cooked but post up Smart. It worked when we did it.

AL Horford has to be able to big boy Klay and Wiggins in the post.  It's amazing that we go 5 out and try to continuously attack at least three defenders in help.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I think the point is that he eats minutes and defends pretty well, and he gives the already shortened rotation a few minutes to gather themselves.

Some things are obvious, one is the team is tired, (IMO the bench needs to be improved in the offseason by two acquisitions.) Big Al is really dragging these last few games, those extra 25 playoff games are now taking a toll on his 35 year old legs. And don't forget Time Lord is playing hurt (as usual). All excuses I agree.

Our playmaking is suspect, and ball handling ability is poor because the ball is mostly in the hands of both J's much of the time. This is what leads to so may turnovers. Jaylen didn't have a good game at all, he has a terrible, single speed, predictable handle going to the rim and the Warriors know it. He also had more turnovers than the entire starting five of GS.

Every NBA team has flaws, we just happen to have two talented stars that have many of the same flaws.

Turnovers, poor playmaking, and stagnant ball movement in general are killing the C's. Obviously we need the few travel days rest, because a win at home can get us a chance at a game 7...where anything can happen.

While I don't necessarily think playing Nesmith is the move, I do think it's time to try some kind of big adjustment.  I feel like there have only been tweaks so far.  I don't know what that big adjustment is but if it's going to happen now is the time.

Tatum 28.2 PPG on 45/39/83 before the shoulder injury, 23.5 PPG on 40/41/77 since. Sucks after he’s been an Ironman for 5 years for this to happen now

Yeah, it's pretty obvious he's hurt. Bummer

Celtics need to snatch Bruce Brown from The Nets this off season. Free Agent

I'd also like a guy like OG Anunoby on the squad too
I would like Nikola Jokic. About as obtainable for us as OG Anunoby

Well, Brown grew up in Boston
Oh yeah, Bruce Brown is totally attainable. OG Anunoby is not even remotely available though. I would be totally happy to add Brown.

Do we need another offensively challenged role player?

I prefer playing D White or G Williams over B Brown.

SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

It's pretty clear all the games they've played is catching up to them, especially with the last two series going 7 games. The team looked gassed in the 4th and I wonder if that's also what's contributing to some of the missed FTs. Unfortunately I don't think Ime has much of a choice either, because if G-Will, Pritchard and White are all going to be non-factors off the bench then Tatum/Brown have to play like 42-44+ minutes each game regularly.

9 points and 2 assists on splits of 50/40/76 is fine for me. He's become an incredibly reliable corner shooter. It would depend on the cost - Brown for the MLE would be a good deal. He's a better rebounder, passer and perimeter defender than Grant, and he's a better rebounder and shooter than White. I don't think they're redundant - I just think our rotations can be better.

Smart (24) / Pritchard (14) / White (10)
J. Brown (28) / White (15) / Smart (5)
Tatum (30) / B. Brown (13) / J. Brown (5)
Horford (24) / G. Williams (16) / Tatum (4) / B. Brown (4)
R. Williams (24) / Theis (10) / G. Williams (10) / Horford (4)

Tatum: 34MPG
Brown: 33MPG
Smart: 29MPG
Horford: 28MPG
G. Williams: 26MPG
White: 25MPG
R. Williams: 24MPG
B. Brown: 17MPG
Pritchard: 14MPG
Theis: 10MPG

I think such a rotation would be better for long playoff runs, as I think the wear and tear on our guys is pretty self-evident. Shorten the rotation come playoff time by cutting Theis out of it and making the minutes more top-heavy.

Rob Williams is playing on one leg but has still been our third best player.

Contrast that with previous rounds. What is going on with the supporting cast? They are adding very little out there.

They laid a collective egg last night. Rob was the only one who didn't. But this is why you can't get too mad at Tatum. He hasn't been great but he also hasn't had a whole lot of help.  Al and White have been the chief MIA's.  Also Grant has not been as effective as he was in the other series.
