I think I am realistic about the situation, the Warriors are in the driver's seat, but at this point, nothing would surprise me. I don't feel the Celtics have been playing their best basketball except in short spurts of specific games. The Warriors' defense certainly has something to do with that but last night, the Celtics missed 10 FT while shooting 68% from the line and lost by 10 points. And too many of the 18 TO were "unforced".
So win in 7 to me is as likely as losing in 6 or 7. Losing 2 in a row was not supposed to happen and now it has so that does not add to my optimism. Boston is currently favored by Vegas (-4) in Game 6 so take it one game at a time and see what happens. Wiggins and Payton are not likely to have big games in Boston like they just did at home.
I don't think the Warriors are necessarily a better team but they are playing better. They are handling the pressure better, which I guess they were supposed to do as the more experienced team, including the coach. The Celtics had second half leads in both Game 4 and 5. They get themselves right there and then kind of shrink back, miss shots, throw the ball away, start being tentative, whatever. I take that as not handling the pressure as well as the Warriors.
