Flew back to Boston yesterday morning and went to the game tonight with my dad.

Bill Simmons, is that you?

Haha…no.  Just some Mass born & bred idiot who decided to move to the Midwest a dozen years ago but couldn’t deal with parting with his season tickets. Moments like tonight are why.

That's commitment, it definitely paid off tonight!

Anyone saw the play where Draymond Green wrapped his arm around Tatum's neck area and just threw him back while trying to go for the rebound off a Warriors free-throw attempt. League should seriously suspend him for that.

What a dirty punk. I hope Celtics fans on Friday continue to give him the hostile treatment along with Klay Thompson

Going after the Boston Crowd- I think that's a dumb move. The Fans do not play the game, it is meaningless to go in a psychological battle against them.

I come from the camp that if you are allowing the crowd to affect you, you are distracted and most likely not playing at your peak ability. As someone's opponent, I loved it when they would jaw with the crowd.

Kerr and Klay calling Boston fans classless due to the taunting and curses against Draymond.

What a couple of buffoons.

Dang.

I hope they chant it louder Friday night
They will.

Clearly Klay and Kerr do not know what Boston/East Coast fans are like. They've been playing all their Finals games in Cleveland and Toronto.

Those comments from Kerr and Klay are like throwing chum to sharks. You're just going to send them into a frenzy, one you don't want to be in.

Garden crowd is the best playoff crowd in the NBA. It's been that way since the 60's.

Grant Williams stated this on the post-game with Kenny Smith and Isaiah Thomas, who both agreed.

Any explanation as to why Horford was playing drop coverage on Curry?

I was hoping this would be addressed by Ime postgame as well - not that most of the media would know the difference.

Didn't the C's play up tighter over those screens in the 4th quarter ?

TP FLCeltsFan as always!

I’m really nervous for this one. My heart says Celtics should win because they’ve always bounced back after a loss and the Garden crowd energy is going to be crazy. My mind tells me Golden State could sneak out a win with a vintage Klay performance + random role player going off + the fact that Boston hasn’t played well at home this postseason.

Still, I have hope that my heart is right ! Expecting big bounce back games from Al and Smart, and a great JT or JB performance (or both). Can’t wait to hear the crowd !

Well, I guess the morale of the story is you should always follow your heart ! I find this win even more impressive considering Klay did have a big game. He kept them in the 10-15 point range for the entire first half before the terrifying GS 3rd quarter surge but the Celtics responded well. Props to our big three oviously but also to Al for an underrated game and mostly to Rob who looked as healthy as he ever looked, wow !

2 more wins !

Toucher and rich said it's almost a given golden state will respond and win game 4. They very well may, but it's not like they played a bad game. Klay and Steph combined for 53 and Wiggins actually played well.

Unless refs get involved like game 2. I think it should be an even game again like game 1 or 3

hogwash. there are no givens. if we play like this again and cut down on turnovers we are not letting curry and klay hit all those threes again. shut curry down at least. keep pounding them physically. we have the bigger team. it seems we may finally actually have a home crowd advantage.  just because we split there does not mean they will split here.

Boston has much rowdier louder fans than the bay area. lol  no comparison really.  win games 3 and 4 at home like we did against the heat in 2012 ECF. we won comfortably game 3 and game 4 was a nailbiter. i will take a 1 point win in game 4. whatever it takes to get up 3-1. It is time to finally be a beast at home and be unbeatable at home.

I do not know about ya'll but i am seeing chinks in that GS armor after last night. we need to keep attacking and pound the life outta them. we are wearing steph down with that defense on him and attacking him on offense.
LET'S GO CELTICS!
