Last mountain for this team to conquer is the killer instinct to put teams down. Handle the home prosperity. Win game 4 and this series is all but over. It’s all there for them.

The crowd, home court, curry gimpy. Now is the time. No need to make it difficult on themselves.

Yeah, I don't think they would Zarba the series again after just one game off. Makes sense to have him there for game 5 or 6. And I sure hope that's the case because I sure as hell don't want to see him/Brothers for two more games this series.

It should also be noted that Zarba got totally shown up in game 2 by Draymond/GSW. I know the league might possibly have an agenda, but I'm not sure ZZ's ego can handle that again.

Kind feel like the only team that can beat Boston at this point is Boston.
That is how I feel too.

Honestly how much better can GS play? Curry is gimpy and has one day rest. Klay and curry went for 50 plus and 11 3s. Wiggins has 16. Cs still won. Do people think green’s antics are going to again push them to a win?

Warriors aren’t getting tougher in one day…or bigger. Crowd will be amped…Celtics need to ride the wave here.

Curry can go off for 50. Thompson can go off for 35. Wiggins can score 25. The Warriors are capable of playing great basketball and should not be discounted.

Not discounting them. Just aren’t sure what their ceiling is.

I would think GSW look at Game 3 as the least needed of the 3 in Boston. Would have been huge to take it, but G3 was, relative to other games, an acceptable loss.  Players may have tuned out once Boston came out energized in the 4th and took the game back.   G4 is more of a back to the wall game for GSW.  Not to say that Cs shouldn’t  feel the same.

I expect GS to be very tough in G4 and even tougher in G5 if they lose G4.  I’m not convinced, especially with JT shoulder issues, Rob knee, and Horford having a harder time with good consecutive games, that this isn’t going to be a long, nail-biting series.

Great win, but jeez Tatum, how many layups did you miss?

By my count at least five.  It's such an achilles heel for him.

First Take had a stat up yesterday of the players with the most missed layups this year:

#1 Russell Westbrook
#4 Jason Tatum (400+)

Now you can say "well he shoots more layups than most players" but of all the great players in the NBA that drive to the hoop, I'd say there are at least 30 I'd put in that category... Tatum misses more layups than only three?

So weird that Boston fans aren’t complaining about refs after a win.

Game 4 is GSW's must-win game.

Game 4 is Celtics' important game, so this is also their must-win game. Take that commanding 3-1 lead.

Did you think there was a difference in the way Game 2 and Game 3 were officiated?

yup

must go up 3-1.  then we have 2 games to close them out. DO not want to play them in a game 7 on the road. not again after dodging a bullet in miami.  take sole control of this series and close them out. break their will. let them know their time is over. dynasty over steph.
LET'S GO CELTICS!
