So beautiful to see CornBread is apparently in Draymond's head from some back & forth the past couple of days.
Can you imagine Green trying his to pull his act back in the 80's in a finals series vs the Celtics.
CornBread, ML, Bird, Parish would eat the guy alive. McHale would score 40 on him down low.
We had a whole team of Grant Williams back then, with All-NBA credentials.

Tonight was quite the gut-check for the Warriors. This Celtics team played inspired basketball and, though it had some memorable moments, Golden State ultimately couldn't match Boston's fire. The Warriors — and Draymond Green in particular — need to re-evaluate some things.

Rob at the podium said he's been struggling with pain and was taking a risk playing.
When pressed by a media member he backtracked and said it was pain tolerance and he's not at risk.

Either way a heroic effort.

He also said getting on the bike and loosening up earlier helped.

What type of medical risk would he be referring to ?
Playing on a not-completely-healed meniscus ?

Is there a medical person on the board tonite who could offer some insight into this ?
I had meniscus surgery and it was a quick heal, though I wasn't playing in the NBA finals at the time.
Where would that pain be coming from if the tissue was cleaned up ?
(which is what meniscus surgery is, it is not putting back together torn tissue like a ligament)

I see quite a few people saying Klay and/or Wiggins haven’t gone off yet this series, but the scary thing is you could say the same about Tatum.

Yes I know he had 26 tonight and 28 Game 2 but he definitely missed quite a few bunnies and had some tough stretches.

But I do believe Tatum has at least one “vintage” game in him this series where he could put up close to an efficient 40 points and have a great all-around game. Maybe not like Game 6 Milwaukee, but Game 3 Brooklyn and Game 4 Miami.

Man, what a crowd.  The energy in that building was constant. Balcony was rocking.  Definitely some nervousness in the 3rd but, man, the Celtics were resilient. Answered pretty much every punch and only once did Golden St really get any momentum. Nice to see Tatum take charge in the 4th.

Can’t wait for Game 4 Friday night. That crowd will be on even another level.

Loved the win.

Also have to say, for Curry to do what he does at age 34 is really impressive. I’ve got so much more respect for his game than, say, Harden or Lowry.
