This game was decided before the tip. Our guys played hard but couldn't overcome the adversity tonight.

Big win for Adam Silver 'n Gold and his vampiric sponsor friends. Brothers and Zarba came up huge for them tonight. Any time the Celtics grabbed any momentum,  they had the answer. Brothers putting Brown back on the bench early was key.

And the way they got Draymond going was huge.

Pretty much.  We knew this would happen and that game 2 would be an extremely difficult game to win.

It went completely downhill after Brown got whistled for his 2nd foul which was complete nonsense.  No contact whatsoever.  Completely changed the complexion of the game.  Killed his rhythm and our team's rhythm.

7 to 2 fouls to start the game when Boston had all of the momentum, most of which were phantom fouls or minimal contact. You can't tell me that this league doesn't have an agenda.

Next game we might get Scott Foster so IDK how everyone feels about that lol

I think Foster goes Game 4. He’ll help the team trailing in the series after Game 3. League wants this to go at least 6 games

18 turnovers is crazy.

18 turnovers. We simply do not win with 15+.

It’s easier to rally the group after an embarrassing loss like this.

We will need to win 2 games in GS..one down Friday…

Guaranteed NBA will not allow us to win both in Boston- they want cash

Ya we're not winning both games in Boston. If the C's get their heads together they can get a split out of it.

It’s almost must win in game 3.
Have to get back on track.

Almost? It is a MUST-WIN in Game 3. I don't wanna be down 2-1 going into Game 4!

15 steals for GSW (vs 3)
18 TO for BOS (vs 10)
34% shooting for BOS (vs 47%)

That’s the story of the game right there

In all seriousness,  how do you continue the 3rd quarter issues and turnovers.  At what point, does talking about it afterwards become unacceptable??

I don't understand why this team needs its teeth kicked in to wake up sometimes.  And to their credit, they do wake up usually.  But still... they did not play well in G1.  They all acknowledged it.  We won anyway, but I hoped that we would come into G2 looking to play better regardless.

Instead, we're making the same coverage mistakes that ignited Curry at the start of G1, we look like our defense has never seen off-ball movement before, and we look utterly confused by GS's defense.  Our only good offense all night has been when Tatum just shoots over the top.  Anytime we drive inside the arc, it's a turnover or a wild, forced miss.

This just isn't Finals basketball.  Hope we're getting this all out of our system tonight, because we cannot afford to look like this again.

huh? we pulled this over and over last 2 rounds

we never learn

bucks series should have been over in 5

miami in 5 as well

we are our own worst enemy

we continually allow series to go longer and we have gotten away with it so far

not sure we will blow this team out by 28 like we did bucks or 25 like we did miami

as long as it is close GS is always on the verge of routing us and here it is tonight.

we have to learn to win close games through 4 quarters like we did game 7 at miami wire to wire

this hanging in there then collapsing has to stop.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Absolutely. Zarba, Ferguson and Brothers are the absolute worst. Our crew in G1 was so amazing, which really highlights how poor this one has been

Nesmith's layup is the first one I remember the Celtics making this half.

True, but we've been doing it all season long and throughout the playoffs, so I'd be shocked if it suddenly changed now.

Copious amounts of turnovers and no show 3rd quarters.. the thread that binds every loss in these playoffs
