Draymond might be a total butt nugget, but he was spot on with assessment after Game 1.  14 of 23 on 3’s from Horford, Smart and White would be hard to replicate.  Just didn’t figure on a complete no show from Al and Marcus.

Take the split and head home!

Nothing less than 60% shooting would overcome the crime.duo reffing tonight.

I mean we saw white get intentionally tripped with no call and Javie admit the refs don't call it straight.

What more do we need ?

yeah, that admission was astonishing. you’re not supposed to state the secret stuff out loud.
All my friends and family are saying the same thing. How can a former ref and league reffing official come out and say, yeah, the refs should consider if someone already has a tech and possibly no call the incident on purpose to keep the player in the game. You basically give a guy like Green carte blanche to be as dirty as he wants because the refs are going to purposely keep him in the game.

It's a stunning public admission and damaging to the NBA as a whole. It admits what so many have been claiming for decades. Favoritism toward certain players and that refs will attempt bending and ignoring the rules to "game" the possible outcome of a game.

In addition to favoring certain players, I would say certain teams get favorable treatment depending on their popularity and on the current status of any given series. The league certainly did not want Golden State to go down 2-0 tonite. The no-call when Curry arm-shivered Jayson Tatum away so he could have a clean shot from the top of the key as well as the ludicrous foul call against GrantW after Green blatantly ran over the top of him in the first half were incredibly obvious favoritism.

I also had a question for you guys, when was the last time you have seen a ref call a tech and then review it and rescind the tech? Is this something new? I watch a lot of ball and i cant quite remember a time they rescinded a tech mid game before. I always thought if it was called it was set.

I mean we all saw Poole reach out to trip White from the baseline angle and they come up with this "hes trying to protect himself" bs. Like Mark Jackson said if you do that out on the streets you are most likely catching hands

Can't just overturn a technical foul call that's just full blown bananas. It's just what it is...fix was in for Game 2.

The privileged treatment Green received from the officials was ridiculous. It certainly played a part in the Celtics struggle but they just can’t have that many live and unforced turnovers. Horford has a really bad game too and I feel like the two bigs lineup isn’t working.

Getting back to Boston with a road win was the minimal goal, now the team just has to protect homecourt - and I hope that it will because they’ve been pretty bad at home in the last series.

Theis is as effective as Yabu
Win or lose these finals.... We'll need an upgrade for Theis next year. He's getting paid $9 mil next year. There's lot of upgrades in the league for $5-8 mil.

The turnover “problem” last night was due to outstanding defensive pressure by Warriors. Its not always fixable or in their control. Warriors are also a very good defensive team. Celtics offense sometimes has problems with strong defensive teams.  When tbe shooting is not on it leads to turnovers
Give Warriors some credit
They have an outstanding coach and far more finals experience than celtics. They made great adjustments from game 1.

The refs allowed green to goon up the game with his BS. This set the tone and allowed the warriors to basically play as they wanted to in Boston.

The refs were ridiculous. Green should of had 4 fouls before the half. Sad that the nba finals would allow one punk the leeway to ruin a game by not making basketball plays.

Good defensive pressure because of how the refs called them.

C's are 12-3 this postseason when Zarba isn't reffing their game. When he is? 1-4

This guy might truly be even worst than Brothers, Foster, Davis, etc. And I never thought I'd be saying that about any ref not named those 3.

Zarba took Jaylen out of the game when he was HOT, by calling 2 RIDICULOUS fouls on Jaylen, especially the second one.  He also did not have the guts to kick Draymond out of the game for a second technical.  I thought what Steve Javie said was pathetic (that it should matter that Draymond already has one tech, so he should not get another one).  Zarba obviously took that into account.

I don't want to blame the refs since we did not show up in the 3rd quarter, but the truth is that we should have been up about 10 at halftime, if the correct calls were made.

Nah we would have lost either way the way we played in the 3rd, but I think we should have been up at least 8 at halftime but the refs kept them in it and GSW went up 2.

I feel the diminishment of Rob was felt badly last night.  He is unable to cover perimeter, can't really defend paint nearly as well, and is no threat on offense.  There were several times where Smart or Brown would get to the paint, but had no confidence of alley ooping to Rob, he just gummed up the paint and resulted in turnover or poor shot. Warriors figured this out quickly and pounced on it.

actually, without Green out there to goon it up, I don't think the C's have that level of meltdown in the 3rd, if they have one at all.  also a good chance that with Green gone in the first half, the GSW D gets less physical and less handsy --> typically after an ejection refs tend to call the game closer to get things back under control.
