Is RobW hurt again from tonite ?
Been hurt all postseason. Just a matter of managing pain and swelling, as his mobility gets limited the more inflamed his knee becomes.

Format was changed back to 2-2-1-1-1 some years back.
That ridiculous 2-3-2 setup cost us at least one title, maybe two.
A David Stern special after his beloved Lakers lost to Bird & Co. in 1984.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Just re-watched some of those Marcus Smart turnovers....Wow, he just gave the ball away tonight. Just stupid passes into traffic with no open man to pass it to---C'mon man, NBA is rigged with all of this betting going on under Adam Silver.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

I get that, but he has had more rest this past week.
Just checking if he had something new or badly aggravated the knee tonite.
He is the type of player who needs to be good physically to be effective - his athleticism is so important to his game.

Sounds weird to say but even in the 3rd, I thought our defense actually held up fairly well the first 8 minutes. The problem was... even after getting a stop the C's would immediately turn the ball over, make a bad pass or miss a bunny (looking at you, Horford + White) and then the Warriors got out in transition and scored. For a long period it was like a 10-14 point deficit but the C's never closed and missed everything, and then GSW just pulled away late in the quarter.

Horford killed us tonight, it wasn’t just the turnovers but when they happened. They really helped the Dubs get a roll on in the 3rd.

I was watching some of their turnovers in the 3rd again and they were mostly because they were trying to dribble in a crowd or making a grandstand play that wasn’t there. They just need to fix that up and they should be fine.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Man what a let down. Turned it off and headed into work early once I saw Nesmith and the bench mob in the game. These 3rd quarters are just inexcusable. And what happened to JB after the 1st qtr. He came out on fire then just disappeared.

And they need to get the perimeter pick and roll defense ironed out. Im tired of seeing minimal effort from the on ball defender to fight over the screen because they think help is there and our help defender is at the free throw line like they are expecting Ja Morant to come soaring in there for a drive in the paint.

And idk if it was by design or just the way they matched up in the fast breaks but there were far too many mismatches at the beginning of the shot clock. No reason JT should be matched up on Draymanned and Grant matched up on Steph while Theis is on Poole. They were getting abused on the perimeter
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

What, you didnt like the no look bounce pass into the paint to absolutely NO ONE and the ensuing stare down at Tatum like he shouldve been 10 feet to the left? LOL

They're not even hiding it any.

Tatum also missed a lot of easy mid-range shots tonight. He can get those basically any time against this team, he's got to take advantage of that.

Yeah Smart had a few of those where he threw it at least 5 feet ahead of the guy

No because its almost impossible to beat a team 3 games in a row in the Finals, even if they are all at home.
