Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has signed with Donda Sports, the marketing agency founded by Kanye West, according to TMZ.

TMZ reported that Donda was drawn to Brown as a client "because of his intelligence, social activism and charitable work ... as well as his success on the court."

Per TMZ, West believes Brown is "underappreciated" and "wants to bring him to 'superhero' status during his career and long after his playing days."

Brown is the second major sports star to align himself with Donda Sports recently, with Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald announcing he'd signed with the agency on Monday.
5' 10" former point guard

Career highlight: 1973-74 championship, Boston Celtics

Career lowlight: traded for a washing machine

I get having respect for Kanye, and for wanting ties to that scene.  But, what experience do Donda’s agents have?  Are they big in the music industry?

I don’t know, personally, but I think Jaylen’s been undermarketed from an endorsement/off-court opportunities standpoint, so it might be a good fit.  I think his basketball contract will be relatively easy to negotiate.

100.  There seem to be over a dozen commercials for Jayson (all the power to him) and zero for Jaylen.

I'm cool with this as long as Kanye doesn't go crazy, and Jaylen re-signs with Boston when it's time.  If things continue as is, he should be given a max contract, seems like a no brainer.

Didn't Brown also represent himself during rookie contract negotiations or whatever

And then people on Reddit called him too smart and called this a red flag

As long as they aren't close with Klutch Sports/Rich Paul aka The LeBron James Cult for whatever reason I'm ok lol

When Antonio Brown is the President of something, no athlete should be associated with it.  Not sure what Jaylen or Aaron Donald are thinking.

I believe Jaylen is also a free agent in the sneaker scene. A shoe contract alone is worth millions.

Related to this Aaron Donald said he may retire today. Doesn’t seem that negotiation is going great.
