Should this crucial Game 7 in Miami have serious repercussions, or is it inconsequential in the grand scheme?

Let’s talk about this tomorrow. My hunch is that this one game won’t have an effect on the major pieces on our team.

Our core is excellent.  We need more depth.  True if we win a title or fall short.

Win or lose, Wyc should be encouraging Brad to use the TPE to add a good piece to the 8 man rotation and pay tax for a contender. Win or lose, we should be maintaining our core.

I said yes. I think one question is, is if Rob Williams can be a dependable starting center, his issues with blood flow and his knees are a bit of a concern. Do we get a starting Big, or get one that can start in place of Rob when needed. Tatum has already said he love Rob, so moving him may not be some thing that can happen.

I like Smart and White, they're inter changeable.

Prichard is a nice off the bench fire crakcer.

Gotta to think about what to do with Horford, I'd love to keep him, but if you can upgrade you have to think about it. And I 'd rather have GWill come off the bench, just seems better doing that.

But with what we have for TPEs theres some wiggle room to improve.  We really need wing and two bigs.

The Cs have a solid core but could use a "big" to support Rob and Al when necessary.  Overpay for a potential starter/6th man.

It's this for me. If we keep the top 9, using the TPE to nab a guy like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope or Kyle Kuzma or Richaun Holmes(maybe move Theis if you land Holmes, maybe not) or Robert Covington or Landry Shamet or Justin Holiday. Just someone that can make this 9 deep team and upgraded 10 man lineup. And then use the rest of the TPE or the taxpayer MLE to bring in an another guy that upgrades that 10 man rotation to an 11 man rotation. Then having Hauser, Staukus, some decent vet min guy and let's say Begarin round out the team looks like an upgrade all away around.

No Stauskas.  Watching that guy in person, he doesn’t look like an NBA player to me.

Broderick Thomas looked real good for a bunch of the garbage time he played in. Keep him rather than Staukus then

Offseason goals seem pretty straightforward to me.

Happy to keep the same starting 5. White as 6th man. Grant as a 7th or 8th man in rotation. Pritchard as a 9th man, 3rd PG type who plays more when someone is out. Theis as a 10th man who plays more when a big is out.

Goal is to use the TPE (and possibly Nesmith or picks) to get a 7th or 8th man that can be relied on for bench playoff minutes alongside White and Grant. That player could be a wing player that can slot in at the 2-4 slots. Or a 4/5 type (as long as they are a clear upgrade from Theis - otherwise, that would be redundant). After that, my only other request would be to sign a slightly better vet 5 option than Kornet with the vet minimum. That brings us to 12 (if Nesmith is not dealt in a TPE deal). However, they want to fill out the rest of the roster works for me.

Smart
Brown
Tatum
Horford
Rob

White
TPE acquisition (wing or big)
Grant

Pritchard
Theis
Nesmith
Vet Min 5

Fill out roster.

No. We already know what the weaknesses are for this team and what we should do to fix them, game 7 won't change that.
I'm bitter.

Not drastically but yes. Would like to see a vet PG come in to help limit the Tatum and brown ball handling turnovers.

Still think they could use one more guy like a PJ Tucker for leadership and toughness.

the roster should change in the offseason regardless of whether the C's are knocked off tonight or if they win the title.  This roster needs more talent, period.  preferably another wing that can play D and hit 3s, a vet PG that can run an offense as well as hit a respectable percentage of shots including 3s and another big that can defend the paint and provide some perimeter D as well.   We've got the starters supported by White, Theis, Grant and PP and that's all we can sort of rely on and that's stretching it because they're not consistent.
