Rob is the key to all of this. They can't run their offense with him on the floor. This would be a closeout game if he were playing the whole series.

I hope he's good for Wed.

Would love him to see no more than 10 mins in the second half.

Tatum to the line 14 times in the half is unheard of.

Yeah, cheers Scott Foster

This win will tell us nothing

Eh, we're playing dominant defense and generally being aggressive.

That's really all it takes.

Most amazing stat tonight I think is Jaylen Brown has 1 turnover.  Seems like he lost the ball half a dozen times.

So glad Rob is playing tonight!

This might be a kneejerk reaction, but is it crazy to say that Timelord is more important to this team than Smart?

Yeah...

The extender at work? The Cs did play a great half though. But yeah, i’ll take anything that will help us get the W.

We've been out in transition a lot which is leading to them fouling.

We can say the refs are doing this but foster didn't make 3 of the starter be 0 for a lot. They didn't make them miss 14 shots in a row.

I might not be remembering right, but the first big lead we had wasn't built at the line either. The fouls came a little later.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Shooting 26 foul shots at 81% helps.

The Heat will make a run in the 3rd, so it's important for the C's to come out and keep up the defensive intensity. If they can keep Miami at bay and just keep the lead around 17 or 18, the Heat will say screw it, we got our game and put up the white flag for tonight.

Agree I had that impulse but save it for the off-season. We need both this season.

I don't actually think so. Love Smart, but I've said that a healthy Timelord can probably be the "3rd piece" in a Big 3 of Tatum/Brown/Timelord. Of course, health and durability are the key concerns, but remember Timelord is also only 24. He'll only get better too
