This might be a kneejerk reaction, but is it crazy to say that Timelord is more important to this team than Smart?

Depends largely on the opponent

Beyond the clear better energy, the other major difference is the turnovers. Only three in the first half. Without Herro, they simply have no consistent halfcourt scoring. You limit the turnovers, and you easily beat this team.

Given what we've seen thus far with Miami literally only winning two of the 14 quarters thus far, is there any doubt that we're overall the better team? Our brainfarts have killed us, but we're clearly the better, more talented team.

I think it's a consequence of depth. White is a much better reserve than Theis in terms of being able to provide comparable things on-court.

I have no confidence in our ability to keep this lead in the 2nd half.
How about just a little bit of faith in this team that continues to show it is an incredibly resilient one?

OK - you got it.

I remember Jerry West, when he was Lakers GM in the 80's talked about being at a finals game where he would often go to a back hallway in the Forum or the Garden because he was too nervous to watch.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

To be honest sometimes I stop watching a game when it's too close as well lol to calm the anxiety.

I just follow along here and Reddit then. Did the same in some of the Bucks series games

Most amazing stat tonight I think is Jaylen Brown has 1 turnover.  Seems like he lost the ball half a dozen times.

So glad Rob is playing tonight!
that's why you can't go off the box score and use that as a supporting argument for his handle not being an issue or he doesn't turn the ball over.  his handle has been bad in the playoffs and really bad against Miami.   he might not get an official TO but he's losing the ball forcing the C's to scramble to get it and it doesn't tend to lead to a Celtic score.

It really would be nice if the C's can do well in the 3rd, Because then maybe we can rest a handful of our main guys including Timelord and get ready for Game 5. Just start this half strong C's and you're golden

I'll settle for another 3rd quarter where we break even

I often switch off, then look at the score on NBA.com.   Sometimes just too tense.  I wind up watching most of the game, but yeah -- not the whole way through.  Also watch with sound off.

Derrick White shooting a 3 is one of the most disappointing things I've seen

If he could shoot the three he'd be an insanely good player.

Tatum's getting a very friendly whistle tonight.
