Lets win it for White and his family tonight!  8)

I was realizing I generally don’t know if our players are dads unless they make it to the media. Sadly I know rondo is now, but what about the rest of our championship team. I have no clue on pierce, Allen or Perkins. Would guess garnett does not. Do most people know this stuff? I realize I probably no less having a lot less regional coverage than if I lived around Boston.

Garnett and Pierce I know have daughters.

Ray Allen and Perk both have children too according to google.

I think Twitter, Reddit, YouTube and other new media have a bit more coverage. Think I found out about Pierce and KG's kids on YouTube, which I spent too much time on before.

Any Cs fan who followed the team to their championship in '08 should know that Ray Allen has kids, since it was a big deal that he almost missed game 6 of the finals - and his son almost died - stemming from his son's diabetes being misdiagnosed.

I was a young-ish fan back then, mostly thought it was cool that Ray Allen could slay dudes from afar with his jumpshooting. Weirdly became more hyped up and followed more closely in the post 08 years (maybe due to everything becoming more gradually accessible technology-wise as an overseas fan), and a Ray Allen hater after he joined the Heat.

No hospital in Miami?

I miss being a bachelor. I remember a time when this thought would make sense.

No hospital in Miami?

Heavily pregnant women are typically advised not to fly. So she stayed home where she's likely most comfortable.

Gee, I don't know about this, but I'm no great lover of children either, so what do I know.

Punch the kid out and get back to the team.

I have a sneaking suspicion you haven't given birth before.

Seems like there are lots of men posting in this thread that do not have children.  I absolutely wanted to be at the birth of all my children.  Wouldn't miss it for anything, but theoretically let's say I missed it so I could work.  My wife would have basically killed me and I wouldn't be playing again the rest of the series as I'd be in the hospital right there with my family, except laid up in a bed injured and lucky to be alive.

If you can be there, you are at the birth of your children.  Period.

Agreed. It's almost like Celtic fans feel more entitled to White's presence than his wife should ... during child birth.

Gouki, you gotta learn my sense of humor. That was not a serious comment.

Yeah, if I wasn't at the birth of my first child(and each after), there wouldn't have been any other kids. I would have been seriously harmed by my better half. Rightfully so.

I know KG and PP both have daughters and they are the best of friends.

With that said, why is this even a discussion? Delivery is dangerous, if something ever happens and you know you chose basketball over family I dont think a championship will be enough to get over it.
