Nets:
Game 1 ended on a lucky play, you can't guard Kyrie
Game 2 KD had a bad game, you won't keep him down all series
Game 3 Boston is playing to harsh, the refs need to stop this nonsense. KD will go off, just wait
Game 4 We'll be the first team to comeback for 0-3. Don't count out a team with Irving and Durant

MKE:
Game 1 We stole game 1, we have HCA now.
Game 2 We got our split, we always start slow. Bostong won't get a shooting night like that again Bucks in 6
Game 3 We held on, this is the turning point. Game was reffed awesome. Bucks in 6
Game 4 They needed a historic night from Al, that won't happen again. Can't win in 6 without losing 2
Game 5 HCA is ours and we'll close this out. We have the best player on the planet
Game 6 They need three games of someone shooting out of their minds to win. Bucks in 7
Game 7 We did this last year against the Nets. We got this...........How do we trade for Dam?

Miami:
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Game 1:  They didn't have Lowry...
Game 2:  Herro and/or Robinson didn't shoot up to expectations...
Game 3:  The Celtics were allowed to play rough...
Game 4:  The Heat were distracted by the Boston nightlife...  (lol)

Any game with sucky refs: The league obviously prefers the bigger market Boston Celtics in the Finals, and the league is clearly pushing Tatum as the next big star.

(Though I expect to hear the same argument about the bigger market Miami Heat in any game the C's lose with sucky refs, ha).

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

It's that one Dunky's that stays open until 9pm that gets them every time...

I’m totally going to stalk the 24-hour Dunks two blocks from my house.  I’m sure Butler is going set up a coffee stand right outside.

I get that this is intended to be lighthearted but really, it is the story of our season.  During the second half of the regular season, when we were just running over any team in our way, it always seemed that there was one key player out for the other team or something like that where you would say (or at least I would say to myself), yeah, they looked good but...

Then we sweep BKN in the first round but , eh, all the games were actually close and BKN was kind of a train wreck without Simmons and all the other turmoil that they seemed to be constantly dealing with.

They we beat the defending champs with arguably the best player on the planet but....eh.... they didn't have Middleton and we did squander some games late.

Now we are in the ECF and starting to run out of excuses.  Just the way this season has gone though, no doubt that will be a shadow over us if Lowry doesn't play or if he isn't full speed.  I believe we are the better team if both are full strength but in reality, neither will probably be full strength.

It is there for the taking.  Even if you concede that we are not a dominant team like past Celtic title teams, none of the other remaining teams are dominant either.  I foresee two extremely tough series to get there but I see no reason to fear any of the remaining teams.  We should be able to play right there with any of them.

The Heat are dangerous because playing hard, are well coached and ability to play in different ways. No excuses!

good post vg. tp for the thought behind it.

it is clear that the difference between nba teams at this stage of the playoffs is very small. but it is there. a celtics team that plays aggressive defense, makes open shots, and steers away from hero ball is the best team in the nba.

lots can go wrong for the celtics, but lots can go wrong for the other teams as well. i think the celtics' defense gives them the edge....along with the Js.

celtics in 6, no excuses or regrets.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I agree with a lot of your post, but I do disagree with the last part. We don't have a traditionally dominant team with a player like Giannis or Lebron leading the way, but we absolutely have dominated the NBA this calendar year - especially on defense. We also have the DPOY player and an All-NBA 1st Teamer (I'm almost certain Tatum is making it). If we do go on to win the Title, people will look at our #1 defense and historic turnaround. Imo, we absolutely should win this series - hopefully all of our previous playoff experience is enough to do so.
