Welp. We went back to 2021 style. I didn't miss that and don't want to see it again.

Hats off to the Bucks. They played like a championship team down the stretch and we did not.
And the refs who kept them in the game whenever things got a little too tuff for them.

The Celtics lost this all on their own. They had plenty of chances to put this away and just tried to coast.

Cs had this and let it go at the end of both halves.

The Bucks are down their second-best scorer. They deserve credit.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
i was screaming at IME (at my tv really) to put some height in when Giannis was shooting those last fts
he misses the 2nd, we are up 1 with the ball if we get the rebound.  Bucks had length in, ball pops right to them game over.

I have no idea how you have Grant Williams in over Theis for that rebound. Then Smart not only fumbles it away, but takes Brown out in the process leaving an open lay-up for Portis.

Tatum is the main culprit tonight. This game is probably not even close if he doesn't single-handedly shoot us out of the game in the second quarter. GWill and Smart lots of mistakes, too, and we didn't see the same Al tonight.

Just so, so disappointing. What a choked opportunity. Literally could've just cost us another banner, as I don't think any other team remaining is close to Milwaukee.
Al wasn't the problem tonight.  knew he wouldn't put up the same numbers as last game.  this one is on Tatum primarily and Smart for killing the offense in the last quarter.

Tatum killed us boys. Idc about the pts. He wasted a ton of possessions.ime let jb sit way too long as well

I’d say rebounding killed them. They got out muscled.
rebounding was brutal tonight.  Ime needed to load that lane with rebounders during Giannis' FTs in case of a miss to prevent just what happened

We're not relying on a rebound if JT doesn't do a chappel Kobe impression for a number of possessions.

He has a lot of growing up to do
Back to wanting Joe fired.

We got a guy named Rob Williams on the bench who didn’t play tonight.

Such dumb basketball. I cannot believe we lost that game. The terrible boxing out on a Giannis free throw is just mind boggling. Ime so stuck on that 1 big lineup and it ended up doing them in
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

We're not done. We can still pull this series out if we learn from this and play with mental toughness in game 6. If you want to develop into a championship team these are the moments where it happens.

Smart with an epic collapse

It was the whole team except for Horford.

Tatum and Brown consistently came up empty down the stretch.

It's because both of them reverted back to the crap your turn/my turn iso crap. That ending looked JUST like the early season Celtics. Shame on both of them - more so Tatum than Brown as Brown at least made his, but still bad offense nonetheless. They lacked leadership and character tonight.

Shame on Ime, too. Besides that ridiculous last ATO play, he didn't do anything to stop the Jays from their doing their crap isos to lose the game for us.
