This is becoming comical how much they cater to Giannis and the Bucks. Those international eyeballs/€’s/£’s buy quite the officiating!

Meh regardless you need scorers as well instaed of these bricklayers really..its a shame they can play defence for the most part but getting into the paint and get buckets for wtv reason is something they cant do when it matters...brown has alot more willpower than tatum..we need a star to get ref calls and since we dont get any - we got faux-star instead - funny how soft we have been..we need actual normal basketball sized players and stars somehow lol xD hard order to make

I love that the Garden is calling this ref bias what it is: BS

If we lose this series, it will only be because of NBA refs favoring the international darling Giannis and his team. The only reason game 7 is even happening is because of this BS.

Come on, NBA. Knock it off and force Giannis to join the Lakers so we can see more Celtics/Lakers Finals in the 2020s.

They don't much like Jokic. Don't think it is an international thing.

It is more of a freak athlete thing. Guys that put defenders in uncomfortable positions frequently and put the pressure on the referee to make a call.

Nah. Shaq wasn't some freakishly fast guy and he got all the calls. It is all about TV contracts, advertising, etc. It's as simple as that.

NBA. The "E" for "Entertainment" is silent.

They hide the “E” here:

Imagine thinking that the massive spending power of the Greek economy has any bearing on the calls Giannis gets. ::)

Greece has almost nothing to do with it. Giannis is as big around the globe as any NBA player in history given globalization and the expansion of NBA popularity internationally. Just like how LeBron got away with a ton because of his popularity, such it is for international darling Giannis.

Given his contract, he can probably afford a Malteese 'golden passport'. Malta's a very nice country, and think of the professional benefits!
