Derrick White with a solid game tonight.

Unsung hero of the night.  +18 with him on the floor.  Quietly helped us win winning basketball, as he usually does.  PP also had a positive impact despite 0 points.

Great win. Maybe we as fans need to cheer our team on rather than throw them under the bus constantly during times they aren't playing perfectly. Some of the posts in the first 15 pages of this thread were pretty ridiculous given it was the 1st quarter of a fairly close game.

Gotta show our boys the love, not the hate.

Great, gutty win.  Al was special.  Old man gave them 30/8/3 while guarding the best player in the world, and Giannis got his but Al made him work.  Can't say enough about the dude.

HCA is ours again.  Need to protect our house.

He was insane!!

Al Horford Finals MVP lets goooo

Haha honestly either this or Smart as Finals MVP would make my day. Al deserves it for all that he's done over his career. Really hope we can get him his ring as a main cog of the team here in Boston.

So, as much as the big lineup has worked for us all year long, it looks like a smaller lineup has won us the game tonight. Wonder how much we'll see it moving forward.

That big lineup works when Grant is playing well, but he hasn’t been great. In the other hand White has been meh. But I like the Smart/White/Brown/Tatum/Horford lineup for late game stretches.

OMG Thank You BIG AL!!! Great finish for JT & Smart.

I love this team.

However, Theis was horrible on offense and defense and setting screens. This is not the team to play Theis against. Payton you have to hit that open 3 - that's all we expect from you.

But thankfuily, Big Al saved us!!!

Celtics win 8 on 5.

If you overcome the Bucks or the 76ers you should get an additional award if you win the championship.  A trophy or award that signifies that you overcame biased NBA officiating.

They returned the favor and hit giannis hard a couple times.  He went pretty silent after that.

Small ball with Marcus at the post might be the key
