Blame the refs if you want. Had Tatum had an average game the C’s win by about 10. Watching him pass out of that wide open 3 late was disheartening. These are two tough teams, Bucks are without Middleton. C’s have no excuses.

That was one of the worst games of Tatum's career. On both ends of the floor.

And Giannis should have fouled out in the first half

I understand he’s a very hard player to referee, but they probably could have called about 12 fouls on him tonight and only blew the whistle on him what, 4 times?

He’s not impossible to defend, but with the contact they allow him to create, he almost is.

Just want to say...Horford worth every penny of that contract so far. Including his falling out with the 76ers to help the Celtics  ;D

Keep up the great postseason game Big Al. Very proud of this man.

The good news is Giannis went off, Tatum had a bad game and they almost pulled it out. I still like the C's to win the series.

I'm starting to get the sense that you might think the league is rigged.

The thing I liked about this game was how the C's kept grinding after that horrible 3rd quarter and nearly pulled it out. I'm disappointed they lost, but it's not a killer.  If they keep this mindset throughout the series (and I see no reason why they won't) they're going to win it.

Exactly. The Bucks barely survived at home with Giannis going off, Tatum having his worst game ever, and the refs making the big plays all throughout. They can't possibly be confident after this showing.

Ime needs to raise hell at the post-game. Major amount type of league fine hell raising.

He should - if he does, he'll do it in his own way, but yeah there were some big errors in this one.  That said, wouldn't have cost the C's the game if our superstar showed up today.

Also that last possession before the Smart free throw fiasco...what was Brown doing trying to dribble in the perimeter and then going back out? It looked like he wanted to take a 2, seemed a bit lost. I think we needed a 3 at that point.

That was definitely a 3p foul on Marcus lol. How can you even debate that

Why is Smart even getting the ball there? He was 1-8 from 3pt in the game. He’s not a good shooter. It was a terrible play call by the coach.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I'm starting to get the sense that you might think the league is rigged.

Anyone who's watched for years knows it is.

If rigged, it would make more sense to me to favor the C's.  I don't believe refs/league are conspiring to assure that every team the C's play wins.  Seems ridiculous and actually perilous to the league were it to be uncovered as true.

Bad calls today though.

They can't. Only the fix can explain what we just sat through.

As a side note, I had a bad feeling that the missed goaltending call earlier in the game would haunt us.  It turned out to be extremely costly for us.

We played like crap most of the game and still almost won.  C's will still win this series.

We also missed 6 free throws, which is inexcusable and unacceptable too
6 missed free throws out of 34 attempts is hardly inexcusable.  That's 82.4% which is quite good.

This was beyond bad. Tim Donaghy already spilled the NBA beans but people still want to believe. This was a wire to wire fix.

NBA favors 7-game series. Buckle up.

Hey remember ‘08? Two 7-gamers to start the playoffs. We can do this.
