Grant Williams has developed into quite a valuable role player - he just keeps improving.

Man, That was the sweetest sweep…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Why did Ime not put Rob Williams in during 4th quarter ? Was there a physical problem with his knee ?

My guess is they’ve had great success closing out with Al and Ime rides a horse that’s running. Al did make big plays down the stretch.

I was more thinking Rob for Grant at times. Grant played well, but Rob could have helped in other ways.

He was definitely rusty though. Hopefully he gets up to speed by the start of the next series.

If Rob was in the normal flow the last 2 games would have been blowouts.

His one on one defense against KD is so underrated. Add to that his much improved 3 ball, he’s gonna earn a nice contract for sure.

AP Recap:

Quote
...Kyrie Irving, whose unavailability for home games much of the season because he isn't vaccinated against the coronavirus contributed to the Nets performing so far below expectations, had 20 points.

AP's pretty bland usually.

50/50 on whether the writer was a Nets fan or a Celtics fan.

Despite the grand efforts of Durant and Scott Foster, the C's prevail!

Credit to Durant though, he showed up. Kyrie did too, not to the same extent but he was trying late. C's were just too much

Bring out the BROOMS!!  It's done!! Celtics overcome the refs and a huge effort by KD to defeat Kyrie's Nets 4-0.

It feels really sweet.  I bet Kyrie's salty tears taste like Ambrosia of the Gods!  ****!  What EXCUSE will he give to the media in the postgame interview??

Someone mentioned that it's all gone downhill for Kyrie since stepping on the Lucky logo. It's the curse of Lucky!

I mean when we fired the old lucky mascot what happened? Kg injured his knee, daniels with all his concussions, shaqs injury, perks acl, rondo's elbow, it's hip, hayward's ankle etc. You dont mess with leprechauns.

Another TP for the gif

Love that show

Got the Tommy Award for the game and it was well-earned.

TL should get better but tonight all the other options were better. Al, GW, and Theis were good. Can't imagine once TL is going and it's a 9 man rotation. C's are going to wear teams down.
