Jaylen saying he had hamstring issues in the second half.  hoping it turns out to be nothing

I noticed him touching his leg a bit at the end.

So glad to see the poise / effort / and finishing of JB/Smart / Al once Tatum fouled out.
The whole momentum was with the Nets.  Those 3 pushed back and made plays and won the game.

Agreed. It helps build confidence for what’s coming.
Celtics fan for life.

Claxton was 1-11 from the line. Would have been the difference if he had made even 60% of them.

Bring out the BROOMS!!  It's done!! Celtics overcome the refs and a huge effort by KD to defeat Kyrie's Nets 4-0.

It feels really sweet.  I bet Kyrie's salty tears taste like Ambrosia of the Gods!  ****!  What EXCUSE will he give to the media in the postgame interview??

Someone mentioned that it's all gone downhill for Kyrie since stepping on the Lucky logo. It's the curse of Lucky!

He told Abby he would be fine. Of course, that could just be him saying it.

So the question (other than how good are the Celtics) is how good are the Nets?   Did the C's beat the team most people thought they were, or were the Nets not really what people thought they were.

Impressive!

If the Nets faced another team it certainly wouldn’t end in a sweep. They might even win the series. The Celtic defense is the big difference.

Why did Ime not put Rob Williams in during 4th quarter ? Was there a physical problem with his knee ?

My guess is they’ve had great success closing out with Al and Ime rides a horse that’s running. Al did make big plays down the stretch.

I was more thinking Rob for Grant at times. Grant played well, but Rob could have helped in other ways.

Well, I was dead wrong about this series and about this team.
Celtics proved a lot of the hype around them isn’t fake and they proved something to me by taking care of the nets in a sweep, let’s keep it going

Oh man, got some crow to eat after your pre-series predictions man haha Might as well call you a Man of the Night's Watch with all that crow!  ;D

Happy to be wrong!

Omg that's right. Claxton missed like 10 FTs today and they were massive misses

I can't imagine. Still easing him in, I guess. Grant was doing a great job out there and Ime has all the trust in the world in Al. Happy to see us finish out the series essentially without the should-be runner-up for DPOY. Nets fans and media really can't complain about not having Simmons when we were mostly without Rob.

I think it was because his timing is still a bit off - he's making the wrong decisions on overhelping and closing out and his timing on lobs isn't quite there. The Nets started picking on him in the 3rd quarter. He'll be better for the experience though, and we need him to me.
