And Ime made a good point after the game, talking about how the ball movement on the last play won the game. The C's need to get back to that and they will have a much easier time.

that final play was such a good representation of how much our guys have improved - Jaylen controlling the ball with the great handles, giving it to smart who doesn't panic and shoot, and gets the beautiful assist to Tatum for the win. Love this team.

Shaq is such a woefully bad analyst, hilariously so. I love seeing Kenny call him up.

What he say?
Rambling on about how how Boston is a 1-2 punch, and if Brooklyn can just defend their role players better they have a chance.

Wrong on two counts. Our role players are studs, and the guys that have to defend them (Irving, Curry, Mills, etc.) are not good on D

Yeah, Shaq's not on their for his analytical abilities.

Beyond your fact that it's easier said than done given they have pretty much all neutral to negative defenders, we literally had two other players over 20 points tonight. What did Brooklyn have?

What's actually the correct analysis is the fact that Brooklyn is the team that is the 1-2 punch, and we have the defenders to shut down their other guys.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Yeah Shaq is literally on there for the entertainment. Same with Chuck though Chuck can provide some good analysis at times too. Kenny Smith is great at providing analysis

There's a reason he's rarely followed when he sprints for the big board.  :P

Well if we can get by the nets (huge challenge)
We are going to get the Bucks.  Milwaukee already up 13 on the bulls

Ime Udoka says Marcus Smart passing up the last shot shows his maturity as a playmaker and how the team evolved over the year:

"We’ve gotten away from the your turn, my turn and we enjoy seeing each other succeed. Get those assist numbers up."

Oh, also hopefully they realize that they are unimpeded in the lane and do not need to settle for any 3 that isn’t wide open. You know.. those plays where a defender is running at a 3 and they side step and shoot a 3? Those are free layups because they play close to the 3 and Durant is just about the only player with the size and speed to  rotate in time.

You're correct.
Nets are 28th in OPP 3FGA and 10th in OPP 3FG%.
Nets are 6th in OPP 2FGA and 15th in OPP 2FG%.
Celtics are 9th in 3FG% and 6th in 2FG%.
We should be going to the basket.

Yup. Smart definitely had that hero-ball look in his eye. Awesome play all around.

Looking forward to next game and watch Durant get pushed around again.
I was surprised by how physical the refs allowed the Celtics to be with KD.  He definitely did not get star treatment for much of the game.  I wonder if that is going to be allowed to continue for the rest of the series.

I was surprised too. A lot of bumping, pushing & shoving off the ball.

Just got to watch out for Tony Brothers and Scott Foster. If the C's take Game 2 especially, then 1 of them is guaranteed to go Game 3 or something to help the Nets  ::)

Yeah, that almost made me cry it was so beautiful. In the past, that would have been an iso step-back by Tatum. But if they play actually did evolve the way it did, Jaylen would have taken an out-of-control shot or Smart would have launched up a well-contested 3. The fact that our guys made the correct read in such a make-or-break situation just shows how much they've grown - even since December.
