Don’t forget that that result was set up by a quick score by Jaylen with 38 sec on the clock and by Smartacus ans Horford doubling Cryrie and forcing him to kick out to Durant. That gave us the stop and 12 sec on the clock

All that and Nets decided not to go 2 for 1 (probably’s been mentioned a few times in previous pages).  Didn’t make sense - got the ball with plenty of time and I don’t think it was Cs D that caused them not to shoot with 28-32 left. They took it up slow and pretty clearly weren’t planning to put anything up early in the clock.

I won't lie, I was actually in the bathroom when it became 114-111 thinking the game ended after Cryrie's dagger 3. I refreshed the Reddit GDT which I was also using and it showed the score "115-114" with 0:00 left which made me go "OMG" lol. Truly exciting stuff  :P

Ha! No way?!

Wow, just rewatched play a few times, Smart made an amazing decision and move and pass perfectly into Tatum- Smart had game of his life too!

Yeah my parents were using the TV but I asked them to pause what they were watching so I could check to make sure. And they showed the highlight too. Smart was phenomenal in this game and made the "smart" decision in this play too. And Tatum did the rest

Well, TP and if we need miracle again, we found the lucky room for you and us!

Yep, I'll be camping in the bathroom going forward  :P

But tbh I wish we'd just hold on to these 15+ leads throughout haha

What did Al eat for lunch? 15 Boards, 20 points is insane and four players over 20! Team effort.

It was fitting for Tatum to win the game on a cut.  His off-ball movement is IMO the biggest improvement he has made this season, and it's not exaggeration to say that it has done a lot to unlock our entire offense.  Passing isn't the only way to make teammates better.

Shaq is such a woefully bad analyst, hilariously so. I love seeing Kenny call him up.

What he say?
Rambling on about how how Boston is a 1-2 punch, and if Brooklyn can just defend their role players better they have a chance.

Wrong on two counts. Our role players are studs, and the guys that have to defend them (Irving, Curry, Mills, etc.) are not good on D

I think the biggest advantage Boston has is that Kyrie isn’t in playoff shape. He has only played 29 games all season, with huge gaping breaks in-between games. He will be exhausted after 4 games.
Especially with how much we're bashing him around

Exactly.

I’d like to see how he pulls up tomorrow after working his butt off for 42 minutes.

My wife stepped in front of the TV in the final minute and my son and I both started yelling at her.

Fortunately, we have a comfortable couch.

I completely understand that lol. My dad and I just yell at my mom and/or sister when they do that especially for Pats games

If we had lost, it would have been devastating. Celts give up 15 point lead and Grant/White lost the game for us with their terrible playing.

Instead, the headline is that we won DESPITE our 6 and 7th players sucking, with an assist from JB in the first half, when he looked like he was shaving points.
