To be fair, Mannix said that on 3/29 and they could have been vaccinated after his comments. Who knows… I just find it odd that people feel the need to keep their vaccination status a secret.

His whole report is literally based on what Mannix said in the TSN interview recently. Horford came out today on Boston Globe saying he’s vaxxed but also FWIW B-Robb has stated for a while now that both Jaylen and Horford are vaccinated.

Some people probably don’t feel that all aspects of their life are for public consumption and would like to keep certain things private. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s all there is to it. Unfortunately because they are public figures there will always be speculation.

A couple of people fell for a conspiracy theory and wouldn’t let it go.

The only 2 unvaccinated Celtics at the start of the season were traded away. I suppose certain reporters could have heard second hand reports mentioning 2 unvaccinated players (meaning those traded away) and extrapolated their referring to current players, but a cursory look at the facts should have shut that down weeks ago.

A lot of people on this site (never mind overall fans of the NBA) fell for this - just go look back and look on this thread and related ones. After looking into all of the quotes from the team throughout the season, I became certain that all current Cs were vaccinated. It was disappointing to see so many people doubt this and instead put their trust in uninformed reporters with no real connection to the team. This is like a microcosm of how propaganda spreads throughout our society and it is concerning.

Anyway, I am happy to see this put to rest - for Al at least - but I would be extremely extremely surprised if it came out that Jaylen was unvaccinated.

Well to be fair to those guys that's their job, to try to make public figures' private lives public...but yes, if they get things wrong too many times people stop believing them (i.e. Chris Broussard)
