Really great article about Red from 1987:

Have a feeling that Brad and Ime are getting us back to the Red-style Celtic Pride described in the article after Danny got us into a different sort of place (the sort of place where even Larry Legend would have been traded if Danny had his way).

Particularly like the part where Red emphasizes how it’s not all about scoring, something so many fans lose sight of these days…

fascinating read though I'm not sure how well that really works in modern sports.  Too much money is involved and free agency and things like that have really altered the landscape.
