The whole thing sucks. Really hoping Brady completely blows it this year and the Bucs finish like 6-11 or something. They won in a number of ridiculous end of game situations last season and I just want to see the old guy go out to pasture. Each year that goes by is ruining how I feel about his legacy with the Pats. And, yes, I realize that is absurd, but you can't help fan emotion.

Jerk. Upstaging KG on the day of his retirement ceremony.

The Celtics already did a pretty good job of upstaging KG with their loss.

This is a very strange turn of events.  To me, the timing is not an issue, this week, last week, next week, whatever, that is not the issue here.  The strangeness is to retire and then unretire in a matter of weeks?

I wonder if the original "retirement" was really just a bluff to see if Tampa would agree to trade him to say San Fran.  That he wanted to play all along but just not in Tampa.  Maybe he still will be traded.  This is all very strange.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

When Brady finally became a free agent two years ago, there was wide speculation that there would be many teams vying for his services. However, when teams were allowed to finally talk to free agents, there weren’t many calls for Brady (either due to his age, or teams already investing in a young QB). Other than Tampa, who else pursued him?

It is now two years later, and this might be his last season in the NFL, as his goal was to play until 45.

I believe Brady asked to be traded after the season ended, and gave the Bucs a list of teams he would want to be traded to. However, those teams either didn’t want Brady for just one season, or an agreed upon trade couldn’t be worked out. I think the whole retirement angle, was to save face if another team didn’t try to acquire him.

I saw an article on SI.com about Robinson signing with Browns, but that has since been taken down.  It appears they may have fallen for a fake twitter account.

Yeah, I saw it on Twitter earlier, but now it’s down. Weird.

When all is said and done with WR signings this offseason, Nelson Agholor's contract will look like a bargain...

Shame we're losing Mr Int.

That LAC defence now has Bosa, Mack, JC and Derwin James. Good players all over

Not glad.  Good player, another hole to fill.

Looking forward to seeing what BB is going to do.  What is Pats likely compensation for this?  Next draft, right?
