Nice hustle by Nesmith
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Another terrible half of basketball by this team. I realize Brown is unfortunately out, but messy and lazy on both ends. I can't even a picture a 3 going in for the Cs anymore. And on the flip side, I am genuinely surprised when the opponent misses a 3. And for the love of god, please stop with the turnovers.

Get Hauser in there. Is Ryan dressed?

Hauser is money from downtown. If the Hawks can play Gallinari, we can play Hauser. I agree with your earlier comment - it's like we just want guys to be better 3 point shooters, but it doesn't actually make them better.

Yes!!!

Has one team ever drafted so many knock-down college shooters who fall flat in the pros than the Celtics ?
It goes all the way back to RJ Hunter.

Curious if there's any other high profile players that also fell flat like that.

I guess Jimmer Fradette.

I'm sure there's a bunch of lower profile players that fell through and weren't able to be shooters in the NBA.

It's like the refs went at halftime and saw how ridiculously lopsided they've called the game thus far and adjusted.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Panic, panic, panic…

Just like that it’s a tie game in less than 4 minutes!

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I know Nesmith is a total spazz and cannot shoot to save his life, but I always appreciate his hustle. Of course I'd rather have Brown, but his energy is what we needed coming into this half. Let's hope we can sustain this!
