We look completely gassed. Almost as if we were using a playoff rotation through February.

Get some g-leaguers in there!
They might actually hit a jump-shot :P

Gimme
Some
Matty
Ice
… in the 2nd half

Matty Ice is good!

Another terrible half of basketball by this team. I realize Brown is unfortunately out, but messy and lazy on both ends. I can't even a picture a 3 going in for the Cs anymore. And on the flip side, I am genuinely surprised when the opponent misses a 3. And for the love of god, please stop with the turnovers.

Get Hauser in there. Is Ryan dressed?

Hauser is money from downtown. If the Hawks can play Gallinari, we can play Hauser. I agree with your earlier comment - it's like we just want guys to be better 3 point shooters, but it doesn't actually make them better.

Despite Marcus and his horrendous turnovers - dumb, reckless basketball - the Celts did score 51 for the half, plenty to be right in the game or leading. So ............. what happened to our clamp-down "elite" defense ?

Kinda ironic that today's ESPN NBA page, the Celtics got the big headline,
"How the Boston Celtics vaulted back into championship contention with the NBA's best defense

This team is so frustrating.

The article should have come the Tuesday before All-Star break. The Cs have been plain awful since that loss to the Pistons going into the break. I don't see any way we actually get out of the 1st round, but I want to have the worst pick/highest seed possible since we traded yet another draft choice away.

When you trade the picks is when you're supposed to go all in.

Our young core that is building for annual title contention must have the lowest, collective Basketball IQ in history (other than Rob W).
It is a huge struggle for them to play smart, efficient basketball with any consistency. It's like that have to force themselves.
And as soon as things go bad or get tight, they automatically revert back to the reckless turnovers and the isolation offense.

Yes, I was yelling for a second, wasn’t sure who they called that on. Just a second.

Has one team ever drafted so many knock-down college shooters who fall flat in the pros than the Celtics ?
It goes all the way back to RJ Hunter.

Nesmith just had to hit open looks.  For crying out loud.   He is taller Carsen Edwards.
