Why does everyone need to add a caveat when discussing this team's recent play? I don't care how bad your NBA opponents are, if you are going to go 20-6 and play 12 of those games on the road or go 13-2 while playing 8 road games, your playing excellent ball. Why? Because in today's NBA, it's still very difficult to win on the road regardless of the quality of the opponent and because it's still very difficult to stay healthy, play consistently and keep focus over that period of time, especially for young teams like the Celtics.
Only the best of teams do that. And if you look at the record and combine it with some historically great numbers through most of that period, and caveats is meaningless, because the team is playing just that dam(n) good.
