That was an absolutely terrific quarter of basketball.  And I think Hawks did well to keep themselves in this game -- only lost the quarter by 19.

Tatum just did that to the Hawks Back up PF who is 6’8” 240lbs.

Now is that not better than jacking step back threes?

White with 5 assists, 2 stls and 12 points.  Not bad off the bench.

We've got a team now that once it turns the screws defensively becomes awfully difficult to deal with - especially at home once the crowd gets into it.

I don't like jumping to conclusions, but DW brings a lot more to the table than JR.

Grant can’t guard SF’s. He’s too slow.
Grant can’t guard anyone. He’s not an nba player.

You are joking, right?
'I was proud of Marcus Smart. He did a great job of keeping us together. He might not get credit for this game, but the pace that he played at, and his playcalling, some of the plays that he called were great. We obviously have to rely on him, so I’m definitely looking forward to Marcus leading this team in that role.' - Jaylen Brown, January 2021

No, he can’t guard SF’s. He keeps getting burned.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

No. Grant Williams is not a good basketball player. He keeps on getting switched on to Bogdanovic who is absolutely abusing him. He’s too small to guard bigs. He’s too slow to cover wings. He literally cannot defend any positions.

How so? He’s a better passer, but a worse shooter. About the same defensively. I like his PG skills, but I don’t think he’s a huge upgrade.

Defense is collapsing to deal with Brown's taking it to the basket. Here's where you need that bench guy who can make 3's.
