I've been critical of Ime. I still want to see a longer rotation by at least one. I think a nine-man rotation in the regular season is important. But he's turned this team into his own and the players have bought in. So tip of the hat to Coach. If we can keep playing with this fire we could make some real noise in the playoffs.

They have a solid 8-man rotation with Theis.  I must admit that Ime realized some time ago, what I am now realizing, that Payton is not a point guard.  Small spot up sg for 3s in the corner.  Good luck Payton.

Yes he backed himself and his decisions despite all the criticism from fans and media and they look like they are bearing fruit right now. Having a healthy team with no Covid absences helps. But the acid test will be consistency when we start hitting those aspirational teams that we want to get to in the schedule. I was never too critical off him given the scale of the task ahead of him when he started, but I'm also mindful that we are going through a softer part of the schedule. I'm going to wait till the end of the season to evaluate his whole body of work but maybe he's not the disaster people thought he was earlier in the season

Pritchard was not playable with Schroder due to size and D. I think you can play him now next to either Smart or White. Probably just spot minutes here and there and he needs to shoot more constantly when he gets time like last night. I was glad Ime ran him until he hit at least that one shot. As bad as Pritchard has shot in his second season he's still our second best 3 pt shooter behind Grant. Picking up another vet bench guard who can shoot 35% from 3 would be a good thing.

It will be nice to Al's minutes down with the addition of Theis. The fits of the trades made are very good.

Let's be fair to both Ime and ourselves.

It's hard to judge a coach offa less than 2 seasons.

We couldn't see this coming.

Also, we dunno for sure yet.

Yup , he seems more comfortable and has the teams full attention.  I think adding players and personnel he is already familiar with has been a big help.

Brad and Ime seem to be like minded .

We still need another shooter like Middleton to reach the next level.

Straight and narrow towards the playoffs.

Is that really a coach problem or a team assembly problem?

Both. We need more vets but you have to develop the players you have. With Theis added I think we only need one more wing. If Grant can play as a big small forward the roster is pretty set. If you could add Bembry we'd be set.

We still need a huge third star to assemble that "Big 3"

Yep, I believe that too and better depth but we took steps in the right direction.
