With the Kings track record, this basically guarantees Haliburton is a star. 😂

Hield could be on the move, right?

The fight for 10th is intense between New Orleans and SAC.

It'll be funny when Portland wins the spot anyway.

I don't really understand why New Orleans would want the 10th spot. They could really use another pick. Sacramento, I am not sure this trade makes them better. They needed to dump fox not halliburton. Guess this means they are high on Mitchell.

The playoffs mean more money.
They also need to keep Zion happy.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Brogdon has to be the next to go, right?

He can't be traded until the season is over because he signed an extension in October.

Good luck to whatever team gets suckered into taking him on. Dude is a walking DNP-injury.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

If the goal is the 10th seed for the play in, Sabonis and Fox is a good pairing. Is there a Fox for Simmons follow up? That raises the ceiling for the Kings.

I like the move for the Pacers. Halliburton and Duarte is a good young backcourt with size and shooting. In the short term, Carlisle’s going to love the offense around Halliburton, Duarte, Hield, and Brogdon. They’ll move Brogdon or Hield with the right deal in the off-season.

How much money do they from 1 road game? Or two road games? I highly doubt it is very significant unless you think they are going to do something like beat the clippers and lakers back to back on the road to get an actual series.

If the argument is this move will please zion, that makes a little more sense. However, I think having huge money paid to a small high level starter who will probably be 31 when Zion first plays with him seems more likely to make Zion leave long term in my opinion.

Maxey could be better than Fox already. Fox isn't a good fit for Philly.

Bagley, Holmes, #1 for Grant could make sense. Sabonis can play center with Grant and Barnes. Detroit has been linked to Bagley since last summer.

David Lee if you mix in some Jokic. 7apg last year is impressive.

The entire teams offense was never run through David Lee and Sabonis is a superior shooter (I think).

And if you assume that Sabonis will never get any better.  Sabonis is 25 and pulling this off, with two ASGs under his belt.  At 25, David Lee had just cracked the starting rotation for the first time in his career..  And he's a much better shooter -- Lee made one three-pointer in his career.

This is a much better comp than Jokic. Jokic is an MVP type player. David Lee was a really good player before he got hurt...
