I’m tired of life, I’m tired of everything…I’d like to blame that on it being a Monday, but that’s pretty much everyday. Sorry

For those who aren’t aware, he was a sideline reporter for the Celts / CSNNE about 10 years ago.  He had a couple of serious seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy.  That pretty much ended his TV career, I think.

I hate seeing people suffering.  I hope he has loved ones to support him.

Met him once, nice guy, gave me a hard time for wearing a Yankees hat while telling him I was a Celtics fan.

When I met him, I remember blanking out on his name.  I saw him and thought "that's Greg Dickerson", but for some reason my mind said "or is it Gary Tanguay" and I didn't want to embarrass myself and say the wrong name, so I just said "hey, you're with the Celtics."

Yeah, the man has overcome a lot.  Epilepsy, Tourette’s, OCD, dyslexia…. And he still made it into an ultra-competitive field. 

I just hope somebody is watching out for the guy.

Very sad to read that Dickerson is really struggling. He and Tanguay have had to deal with harsh medical challenges. I wish them both nothing but the best.
