In all starts with the perfect combination of Jordan and Pippen.  Many have tried to imitate.  Without success.  Tatum and Brown are both natural SFs IMO.

I was trying to think of duos that were both natural SFs they're aren't many. Here is my list feel free to add yours.

Grant Hill and T mac could have been amazing
Lebron and Wade. Closest thing ever to MJ and Pippen both alphas
Kawhi and George both SFs
Kawhi and Siakam  1 ring
Durant and Harden
Giannis Middleton  1 ring
Pierce Allen 1 ring
Glen Robinson  Allen
Walker Pierce Walker a PF but hey they were fun
Tatum Brown Hayward never seen three such talented SFs on the same team

Jim Jackson & Jamal Mashburn.

These guys don't belong here but I can't shake their names right now. Yes, I was watching some young Jason Kidd Mavs games recently. They were actually pretty fun to watch for a dodgy team.

I like Kawhi and PG13 as comps for Tatum and Jaylen. I view Jaylen as a SF so I like that both those guys are SFs and not a SG/SF pairing.

It is also interesting to see the similar problems that LAC has had with them in terms of ball-movement, too much isolation b'ball and criticisms over the PG play with the common belief that that will right the ship.

The other one that was pretty successful was Dr J and Andrew Toney. They led Philly to the Finals in 1982 as the two best players on the team and to the Championship in 1983 as the 2nd and 3rd best players on the team behind Moses Malone.

Vince Carter and young T-Mac were also great to watch. They were meant to be the next Pippen and MJ but T-Mac left for Orlando instead.

Not the best in history but a strong combo - Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson in NJ.

They even had Jason Kidd as well but no inside presence and were unable to compete for a Championship because of that flaw.

Another good one.  I'm even more interested in two natural SFs if you guys can think of anymore.  I only put Allen Pierce because they were Celtics.

Ray Allen is the definition of a Shooting guard as is Klay Thompson.

Jalen Rose & Reggie Miller.

Led the Pacers to the Finals in 2000 although they had a very strong cast around them with Dale Davis, Rik Smits, Mark Jackson and a deep bench.

Two SFs is tougher. Rarely seen together until recently.

The 76ers with Dr J and Bobby Jones.

They had Dr J and George McGinnis before that. McGinnis was a big beast of a man but he could play SF, PF and C. He had the ball-handling & passing of a wing. Similar to Antoine Walker but with high level athleticism. They led the Sixers to the Finals in 1977.

Then Bobby Jones came in. More similar to AK-47 as a defensive minded versatile slender combo forward. Philly brought Bobby Jones off the bench most of his time there. He would have been their 2nd best player in the early days before Toney and Moses arrived. Perennial contender. Mo Cheeks and Lionel Hollins weren't far behind Bobby Jones in impact.

I think of Rolando Blackman and Mark Aguirre a lot here too. Blackman was mainly a SG but he wasn't a great ball-handler or passer and is more comparable to Jaylen or other SFs in that aspect. He had good size at 6-6 but lacked beef. A shooter & slasher.

Dallas had good teams throughout the 80s but only had one team that went far in the playoffs. They were loaded with talent with Sam Perkins, Derek Harper, Roy Tarpley, James Donaldson and a young Detlef Schrempf off the bench. The rest of the teams were more in the 45 win range.

Probably not the best but you can't ignore Hondo and the late Sam Jones.

List is a lot shorter if they have to be the 2 best players.  I mean the 67 Sixers had Cunningham, Greer, and Walker.  All 3 made the HOF and were clearly wings, but that was also clearly Wilt's team.  Similarly, the Pistons had Dumars and Aguirre (Dantley before the trade), but obviously Zeke was the leader and best player.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Sprewell and Houston led the 1999 Knicks to the Finals and the Conference Finals the next year. The Knicks had a deep team around them with Camby, Kurt Thomas, Larry Johnson, Dudley, Ewing in 2000, Ward and Childs.

A case of two SGs rather than a SG+SF or two SFs.
