And Jaylen Brown disappears in crunch time. Gets his stats and points but disappears when it matters. Use the 50 point game as a highlight to make a trade. Praying for Brown for Beal. Yes Beal is on expiring but it clears our books if the new tandem doesn’t work.

We are going to lose Tatum…

How is Brown disappearing when he is stuck in the corner as a decoy the whole 4th quarter?  Ime basically gave Smart and Tatum the ball, and DS interjected himself into that as well.  With the exception of a few 3s by smart and Tatum, and the shot hit by Tatum at 1.5 sec left, Ime's strategy wasn't very good.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Brad better do something  before JT asks out. He isn’t the problem guys. He just needs better players around him.

This is legit becoming a concern. Because not only are we bad now, but we're not even playing up to the minimal expectations that there were for us, leading to a terrible playing environment.

At the absolute least, we need to prioritize getting shooters around him. Closing a game with 3 below average shooters on the floor with him isn't putting this team in a position to succeed.

2-11 in close games this year. That's a clear "we've got many problems" if I've ever seen it.

Time to stop making excuses about injuries/COVID. Every other team in the NBA (that doesn't stink) finds a way to overcome to a certain extent.

We need a change ASAP or else fans are going to give up on this extremely dislikable squad. Jeez.

Honestly, I liked the Ime hiring. Thought he had what it took, and checked a lot of the boxes.

But my God is he completely unfit to manage an NBA offense. Completely clueless out there. These fourth quarter woes are inexcusable, and his supposed strength of player relations and keeping his guys motivated has clearly not panned out either.

He should absolutely be on the hot seat. Hell, I - I, of all people - would rather have Brad back at this point. He lost the team and was a pushover, but he at least had legitimate sets to run and an offensive identity outside of finding the mismatch and iso'ing.

I supported the decision also, as did many others I believe.  Someone who learned under Popovich should always be considered - sure there are some duds (such as Brett Brown) but I didn't think Ime would be one of them.  I thought he'd bring a similar style - ball movement and accountability, as well as credibility being a former player.

Personally I could not be less impressed with Ime so far.  He's among the worst coaches in the NBA.

Of course, Ime comes out in the postgame presser throwing his team under the bus again.

People who are complaining about Brown's lack of 4th quarter contributions either didn't watch the game or don't understand the game.

I asked this question before was he ever Pop’s #1 guy?

I guess this is a tank year. I hope we don't dump the pick like we did last year.

I think the strategy is give the ball to Tatum and hope he scores everytime.
Seriously, I think that was Ime's strategy at least in this game.

We are so good at losing leads in the 4th quarter.  Some of that has to come back to the coach.  It is mostly the players, but a component of it is on the coach.  The coach needs to use his basketball smarts to adjust, make a good substitution, call a FREAKING play for once.
