This team is mentally weak. They tighten up down the stretch game after game. Can’t play with a lead.

Guys seemed gassed in 4th quarter, which is not surprising considering how many players are out. Calling them mentally weak after leading for 95% of the game is a bit unfair...

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don't think it was a disturbing loss at all. They played very well against one of the best teams in the league. They withstood a rally in the 3Q, got shots down the stretch but couldn't execute. Defense was excellent for the entire game. Rob is taking his game to another level and Pritchard is back.

Bucks had all their top guys and were playing at home.  This wasn't a bad loss

Yeah. They also had one of the best teams in the league on the ropes, just couldn't close it out down the stretch despite several great looks for Tatum and Brown. I can't understand the loser mentality that you can't win if you don't have a Giannis or Lebron on your team when a very shorthanded Celtics team took the Bucks and Warriors to the edge.

Can someone tell Tatum to stop those moves he learns in the one on one off season drills at Hanlons camps?

I don't think we have ran 1 successful ATO play this whole season lol. And defensive strategies are always bizarre. Rob Williams on Pat connaughton while jaylen brown and Parker took turns guarding Giannis at one point, I was laughing
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

I agree, not a bad loss.

But a disturbing trend continues to plague this team. Late game melt.

This team badly needs a quality point guard. It's not Smart. And it's not Tatum with the game on the line.

That kind of loser talk means nothing when you have 10+ guys out and have been playing half the season without one of your top 2 guys in Brown. Just saying. Give these guys credit. They brought it big time today.

Missed the game, not showing it in LA but looks like we choked away another lead…I think that’s 8 games now we lost that we should have won where we controlled most of the game. Our record could have been so different  :(

I guess they were short of players with Covid protocols so they did well to control most of the game but these games are the ones that sting…blowouts are easier to take  :-\
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Purely from a team perspective current Jayson Tatum has the least enjoyable and most frustrating game of any star player I've watched in my time as a Celtics fan. Below early-2000s, pre Big-3 immature Paul Pierce and mid-2010s, late Big 3 stat-pad Rondo. Has the talent, the height, the basketball IQ and chooses to be high volume Gerald Henderson with a good haircut.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody, enjoy yourselves.

doesn’t change the fact…moral victories do not count.
