The Boston Celtics are signing G/F C.J. Miles to a hardship exemption, sources tell ESPN. Miles, a 15-year veteran, played for the Wizards in the 2019-2020 season.

It’s possible, although we’re down wings and swings primarily (Schröder is questionable and not on the Covid list), so I’m not sure positionally how he would have fit.

Also, these guys are on 10-day emergency contracts.  They aren’t sticking on the roster — it might’ve been tough PR-wise to just let IT’s contract expire.
